I hadn't seen them when I went back to try and finish everything.

Outside one of the car washes on the first island, there is a group of bikers with new bikes. Or, at least, there was when I was playing earlier.

I think Rockstar said that the new weapons were exclusive to Johnny and his story.

I don't understand why the Ammunation stores in(Lost and Damned) don't sell any of the new weapons. You could guarentee that the Ammunation stores in San Andreas would have 99% of the weapons, avaliable in the game, ready for you to buy once you'd unlocked them all.

I've just seen thecut-scene with full naked guy (politican guy I think). And then I saw penis. With balls..

Hot. (Seriously, how did Rockstar got away with that? )

Enjoying the story so far, although I'm not sure if I like racing. I'd need to do it for 69 bikers achievement, but I suck at these races. :(

I loved how the camera work before it kept hinting that they were going to show it only to then adjust it at the last minute, until the end that is.

Just finished The Lost & Damned(took me about 7 hours, 30 minutes). Really enjoyed every moment of it. :) I'll work on getting TLAD: Get Good Wood achievement, and when I've finished that I'll be playing more of ranked team deathmatch games.

I do think Saints Row 2 is much superior, there's no arguing that GTAIV is also great fun game. The story is also bloody great, I've enjoyed Niko's story & also TLAD story.

Over at some of the GTA forums there's a theory that if you look at the LCPD database on their website the GTA 4 characters we've played as all have "Grand Theft Auto" as their first crime. Bellic has it, Klebitz has and so does Luis the rumoured character for the next DLC. What's quite interesting is that Packie also has "Grand Theft Auto" listed as his first crime.

Bought this Sunday morning so I've only done a couple of missions so far but I'm amazed at how different the city looks with just the change of colour temperature and the grain filter :) really good! Can't wait to play more but the girlfriend HATES GTA so I might only be able to play while she's not around...

Which mission is that? Is that the one where you have to steal the prison bus?

What but are you having trouble with?

Lost and Damned hits 1m sales

Rockstar's downloadable content for Grand Theft Auto IV, The Lost and Damned, may have sold more than one million units on Xbox Live, according to a report.

The sales amount to more than USD 20 million in revenue, says Variety, which cites a "good source". Rockstar would have been entitled to USD 14 million of the total, had it not already agreed to create two new chapters for GTAIV under a USD 50 million deal with Microsoft.

The Lost and Damned broke day one sales records on Xbox Live and is set to sell 2 million units by the end of the year, according to analyst Michael Pachter.

Looks like the $50 million deal MS did for the two pieces of content wasn't such a bad idea after all.

If they make another $20 million on the next DLC, coupled with revenue from extra GTAIV sales, they'll be sorted.

What?

From those figures looks like they've recouped $15 already on this one piece of content, if the analyst is right they'll double that by the end of the year.

Thats going on for $30 million on the first piece of content, with the second piece then only needing to chip in $20 million to make them square.

So it looks like they'll get their $50 million back in sales having advanced the 360 as the only place to get this content.

Like I said, looks like it wasn't a bad deal for MS after all.

This is basically what I was saying (albeit in a crap way). Even if they didn't make anymore from this DLC, as long as they made the same again on the next, and then added that to the extra sales of the original game, they'd already be even.

Even after that, this may entice more people and sway them to buy the 360 version when the next GTA comes out.

All in all, a good move methinks.

I know where the next GTA is going to be located.

It's very very exciting.

You should all be very very excited.

Excited.

Don't forget about advertising & those L&D gamerpoint packs.

I'd be very surprised if MS break even/make any sort of profit from both DLC packs, it's much more likely that they'll make a loss.
