There are links to different Facebook feeds in that 1st reddit thread but I'm not so sure about sharing them myself actually.

Pretty grim. I wouldn't be surprised if it was a nailbomb or something with shrapnel, but I guess anything explosive can cause bodily damage like that.

It seems there are shellshocked people leaking blood hanging around the place. :dread:

It's surreal because after finishing some work I was happy with I just pulled into this thread posted pretty much the moment it's happening. I normally wake up half a day after this stuff happens. :( 24/7 news is probably a good thing but it's pretty horrible really. It's a grim realisation there is suffering happening at all times in the world.

I heard lots of emergency service sirens earlier around 10:45-11. Checked phone at 12 and saw everything that has happened. Terrible a strawberry floating kids concert too.

BBC reporting police saying there's a suspect device near the scene, controlled explosion imminent.

Very sad. In which case it wasn't a propane balloon from a stage rig or anything like that. I wouldn't be surprised if it was a nail bomb or some other kind of IED, or several, poised for people leaving the venue. I hope there are no further casualties and it's very sad to see this continual targeting of public events like concerts.

Properly awful news this. I go to a hell of a lot of arena concerts and can just visualise the utter panic and confusion as it unfolded. Not proud of it but initially wanted this to "just" be an a minor stage malfunction or whatever rather than this horrible alternative. Could've happened at any venue too, though it's clear this was targeted in a particularly evil way because of the audience. A terrible attack.

And as irrational as it seems, stuff like this just straight up puts me off ever going to any big public events where there are loads of crowds. This could easily have happened (and may happen in the future) outside any football ground in the country, where the crowds are far larger. You can police and check everyone going into a stadium, but how do you stop people hanging around outside waiting for the crowds to pour out?

For those that read gaf, id advise staying out of the thread on this. Despicable people in there saying gooseberry fool and arguing. Made me feel physically sick.

After I made light at the start of the London attack a few months ago, I agree with Lotus and MHTL here. Wait for some concrete details before speculating or making inane jokes.

News is saying it's a suicide bomber, not some balloon explosion or nail bomb.

Just sickening to read, those poor people.

These are the type of events that really hit home. Could be anyone of us enjoying a night out a gig.

Those poor kids :(
