I couldn't let it drop, I won't get this good again without a lot of build up.l, but I didn't think sub 1.43 was in there.

Not had chance to get back on it. Might not get chance again before my 7 day trial ends.
Either way, I'm doubtful I could go any better on Mute City. Great time you've done!

There metagame seems to have moved beyond me in this as my efforts in 99 mode now are utterly hopeless. Where last week I was comfortably competing for top 10s, now I struggle to get top 50. It also feels like the player base is declining rapidly which makes match making slower and the prospect of coming up against half a dozen people with 100+ wins pretty unappealing.

I think it depends on your rank. I'm in A- now and I still seem to be getting top 10/top 25 unless I crash out. Just see if you can aim to KO as many of the grey cars at the back if you can then as long as you're boosting at the right time you should be able to make the top 25 at least. The major thing seems to be making sure to time your skyway usage just to get the best out of it.
I've noticed there's a lot smaller gap between people at the rank I'm at though, it seems the top 70 at least are all in one big bundle for most of the game where as before it felt like people could speed off.
