It's just the sort of thing someone might say when they've got a lot of growing up to do. I personally found that to be quite distasteful, my Granddad is diabetic and not only that it's a relatively common disease.

So has this not been officially released in Russia? I thought it had. How did the modders get hold of the codebase?

With regards to the piracy thing. I'm generally anti-piracy, but morality is a personal thing, and everyone draws the line in a different place. For example, I'd say that if there is no way for you to legitimately pay money for a piece of media, then you're not hurting the copyright owner to pirate it.

I have the full Sky Sports and BT Sports package, there is no way for me to legally watch 3pm Saturday games in the UK - Is watching them on a stream morally wrong? What about VPNing my way to them via an overseas subscription? Am I a pirate if I subscribe to Fox Soccer in the US?

I'd never take for free, something that I can and should pay for. But when Microsoft are turning their backs on the millions of Halo fans in Europe and the US then I don't see a moral issue with people looking for a way to circumvent that. How big is the Russian Halo community anyway? Did they even want this game?

Just gave this a go and it's the Halo I always wanted; 60fps, no jaggies, mouse aiming. Getting used to the floatiness is hard, but it's satisfying melee-ing cheeky banana splits out of the air as they jump at you.

I really enjoyed Halo 1 on the PC so I'll certainly give this a go! Also I just caught up on Photek. :fp:

I am a little hesitant to try this due to some apparent security issues but once this gets the green light in general I'll be all over it.
