A sound is only a sound when it's perceived as a sound, otherwise it's just vibrations.

The Beach Boys classic "Good Vibrations" is actually called "Good Sounds". The title "Good Vibrations" should only be used when the CD is alone in a forest.

I don't think they be singing about those kinds of vibrations.

If bears are Catholic there's definitely a child molestation joke to be made somewhere.

Some of these facts may need just a touch of the ol' verification there, I think.

And that's a fact.

My favourite piece of information is that Branwell Brontë, brother of Emily and Charlotte, died standing up leaning against a mantle piece, in order to prove it could be done.

I called off his players' names as they came marching up the steps behind him....All nice guys. They'll finish last. Nice guys. Finish last.

Bluetooth is called Bluetooth after the tenth-century Scandinavian king Harald Bluetooth (Blátǫnn / Blåtand / Blåtann).

The reason for this is because Bluetooth technology is designed to unify wireless communications, and King Bluetooth unified many warring Danish tribes.

You can see that the Bluetooth logo Image is a "bind rune" merging the runes Hagall Image and Bjarkan Image - the initials of the king.

It's also worth noting that the reason the name came to mind when creating the protocol because Nokia and Ericsson were the two mobile phone companies involved in designing it with Intel and Toshiba. It exists specifically because two competing Scandanavian companies wanted their phones to be able to transfer data with the other's.
