Really enjoying this, only gripe is the instadeath stuff. But even then you always start where you died and the deaths are awesome.

Loving the SH vibe as well.

I've made it to Chapter 6. Thankfully although there's little ammo, you usually can find 1 or 2 bullets that keep you ticking over, don't think there was much to worry about in that chapter.

Played about 4 and half hours, early days but potentially one of my games of year....

You can hide from him. Just make sure your lantern is off. He found me hiding in a wardrobe cause I forgot to turn it off Also if hes blocking your exit you can shot him and hell disappear for a second giving you time to sprint past him

And there are rooms everywhere. I'm getting strawberry floated off with dying from him. I hid and forgot to turn my latern off the dread has returned too. The past few chapters I've wandered through because I had no idea what the hell was going on.

Chapter 9 finished.

Finally the story is starting to make some sense, even if it is batshit insane. That chapter was a long one. That strawberry floating bloke following me around was proper creepy.

What is wrong with me? Played chapter up to chapter 3, and tried chapter 3 for an hour (including those load times) and sent it back to boomerang. I just couldn't get into it.

Considering Resi 4 on the GameCube is one of my favourite games, it's odd. Seems to be a proper marmite game?

To be fair chapter 3 pissed me off as had no idea what to do but yeah it just gets better and better after that. I even enjoyed chapter 1

Chapter three raped me of health and ammo....gonna have to tread carefully for the next bit or so to recoup some stuff!

If in doubt, run. Pretty much any boss-like thing attacks you, run.

I finished this today, ammo got so scarce towards the end I needed to get creative to progress. Pretty great game I have to say.

Yeah, me too. Left myself very short for the penultimate fight, ended up having to improvise. Died a few times until I came up with a plan, which then required flawless execution. Took me a few goes, but so satisfying when I finally nailed it.

Great game. A few minor issues (mostly technical) but the combat, atmosphere, art, sound design and encounter variety are so good.

Think Im near the end now. At the big dog boss fight.

The urgency ramped right up in the last few chapters. It was a right effort to get the to the end of the chapters.

Being chased constantly is no good for my collecting skills.
