That's a good point - it is immensely frustrating having to run past stuff because you're being chased. Intentionally used to create extra levels of anxiety? :dread:

It's like a copy and paste of RE4

The story in this really is garbage isn't it

Just rescued the woman chapter 11 I think. Have a funny turn and start turning into a zombie..so rightly so she locks me in a room, but then without warming she mutters something and just walks off. :x

So from rescuing you from certain death to strawberry floating off into the darkness. :|

Bitch.

Am. I missing something here? I'm on chapter three, have to work my way to a gate, have no ammo, and I keep dying. How am I supposed to survive when I'm getting one hit killed all the time? It's immensely frustrating and the loading times (360) between death and restart are like 20-30 seconds!

HELP!

Stealth kills are your way forward. Search all houses for ammo/items etc. Burn corpses as sometimes they leave items and you'll need heavy ammo to kill the chap with the chainsaw as you'll need it for the gate!

How?can barely find anything about fighting it never mind running away

Edit: You need to do enough damage until a cut scene and then can avoid it, grab glasses and continue. Don't have enough bullets if decent weapons like bolts recommended, don't know how ill do it...

Honestly can't remember fighting it until later in the game.

Just finished chapter 12 I think. Close to the end now.

I'm sure you can explore that area a bit and find extra ammo lying around.

The game is great fun now. The developers have opened up the debug console (and a lot more if you start digging).

God Mode FTW. Loving it.

Yep - and it's great. Now I'm free to explore the world, I still get to fight everything, collect pick-ups and craft, etc, but all the frustration and fail is removed. Fantastic! The beauty of Cvars and commands are that they throw the game wide open to play as you want. You can increase challenge, give yourself a ton of ammo, supplies, etc, get rid of the aspect ratio completely, change the FOV, etc. I've only just started exploring the possibilities. PC gaming.

Eh? What's the point in 'playing' a game without being challenged? Surely that's the whole point? :?

Anyway, how annoying are those invisable bastards? :dread:

Thankfully, once you're past the first lot you're (almost) done with such irritants.

Very simple, Gandalf: don't worry yourself about it. Those of us who want to exploit the dev console - unlocked by the developers themselves for us all to use - can meanwhile get on with it.
