If that's a fake, then it's a brilliant one.

I probably won't care when the teaser is shown but ffs Bethesda! Use a new teaser template!

The song is End of the World. Doesn't sound like any of the versions on YT.

Apparently it's the Patti Page version. This does raise questions, as the song was released after the "divergence", so this could well be fake.

Even if it is a fake, it could still generate enough hype to make Bethesda get off its collective arse and make the damn game.

I have absolutely no doubt that they're already making it.

I don't think they have just sat around twiddling their thumbs after finishing Skyrim, which was over two years ago. Fallout 4 could potentially be coming out next year.

Can't wait for this announcement, 6 days time!

While the characters were a bit forgettable in Skyrim I still loved it, sank so many hours across numerous characters.

Loved Fallout 3 and Fallout New Vegas too, hopefully Bethesda has learnt from Skyrim and we'll get a world as in-depth as that but with the characters and story from New Vegas

Much like every other version I'll be PC and console versions too.

Music sounds very Fallout-like. Yep. I wanna see Fallout 4!

Fallout NV was probably my game of the outgoing generation.

If this appeared at some point in 2014 I would be very, very happy.

Site has been updated.

http://thesurvivor2299.com/

The Morse code reads:

"MY DEAR SISTER. I’M HEADING TO THE INSTITUTE. GOD KNOWS WHAT HAPPENED TO THIS PLACE NOW. THIS OLD BASTARD WILL HELP US. HE MUST HELP US. –0321–"

Also, another update is coming tomorrow judging by the smaller counter above.

It had best not be fake. It's not the season for fakery! :(

The Institute (i.e. MIT) is the place where androids were said to come from in Fallout 3 so it seems they will have something to do with this game. That also seems to confirm the rumours that the game will be set in Boston.

If there is another message tomorrow and it ends in 320 then we've likely got a countdown to either release or some big announcement.

I would probably buy a PS4 for this game. Loved F3 and New Vegas.

You're like Jeff Goldblum in Independence Day.

I wonder if this'll be next gen and PC only or will they still make 360 and PS3 versions? I'd prefer if the game wasn't held back by last gen consoles so Bethesda or whoever have a bit more freedom without having to worry as much whether the consoles can handle it. But at the same time, from a business standpoint it would be hard to ignore the huge numbers of the PS3/360 userbase.

After listening to that music clip it definitely had a Fallout feel to it (very similar to the F3 debut trailer). I've fully got my hopes up now for a Fallout 4 reveal  so hopefully it does happen. I'd wager maybe a fall 2014 release date maybe?

Bethesda wasted no time in ditching the Xbox/PS2 for Oblivion.

I don't think there's any coincidence in waiting for PS4 and X1 to launch first. They were complaining about the constraints of last gen consoles as far back as Skyrim.

I'll buy an Xbox One or PS4 for this. Like I did the Xbox 360 for Oblivion.
