I can't wait. There's very little I enjoy more than getting lost in the Fallout world. Well, at least until the bugs take me out of it.

How would it be different? Was NV like a proper Fallout?

I have the original but I can't get into it.

But at least PC can do it at 1080p. :shifty: I think that's the gist of his joke. I think.

Fallout 4 isn't a big surprise, to be honest. I expected it after Skyrim.

It's Fallout, so if you aren't playing on PC you are doing it wrong.

:datass: Should be awesome. Despite the many many bugs i loved Fallout 3, definitely one of my top games of this gen. Assuming Bethesda have been beefing up their game engine with the next gen consoles on the horizon, I reckon they'll come up with something special for Fallout 4.

A lot of rumours seem to have been suggesting it'll be set in Boston this time round.

I will so be getting this for the new PC.

Then I can point and laugh at all my friends with their low resolution console toy things.

(Am I doing this right? :shifty: )

Okay, so facts/sort-of-facts known at present:

1. Set in Boston (according to leaked early info, it could have changed).
2. Takes place in 2299 (almost thirty years after FO3 in other words)
3. The player character is probably 'the survivor', meaning your back story probably has you as the lone survivor of some incident or other.

It's about strawberry floating time, that's all I can say.

I hope the story is more compelling this time. In F3 I often felt like I was left entirely alone by the story, and by the time I got around to doing any story missions I'd forgotten what the plot even was, let alone where I was in it. I didn't care about any of the characters and felt like I had no reason to. I do appreciate that the developers wanted to put me in a big open world and have me go play in it my way, but I think the reins were too loose and ended up making me feel a bit lost and bored. Plus, I strawberry floating hate Reavers and Fallout's subways.
