I was playing this for a while today when I noticed some spooky goings on in Sanctuary.

New Orleans could make for an interesting setting. I'm hoping for a quest in the abandoned Six Flags park.

Hop on the Nuka-Express for a trip to Nuka-World… America’s Favorite Vacation Destination! The fun starts on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC on Tuesday, August 30th.

Nuka-World is a vast amusement park featuring Raider gangs and unique park zones like Safari Adventure, the World of Refreshment, Dry Rock Gulch, Kiddie Kingdom, Galactic Zone, and Nuka-Town, USA. Nuka-World features new quests, Raiders factions, weapons, creatures and more. Enjoy the ride!

Once Nuka-World hits I'll finally start up a new game for a play through of all the DLC.

If Obsidian is doing this, I'm so incredibly in.

Didn't Zeni Max/Bethesda shaft Obsidian out of royalties/similar by way of failing to properly QA New Vegas and it then going on to fail to meet a pre-agreed Metacritic score? I doubt they'd want to work with them again.

After giving up on getting Benevolent Leader in Sanctuary since it just refuses to go beyond 85-87% happiness (in fact when I went off exploring for a while last night the game thought there were 39 settlers there and the happiness dropped to about 67% at one point) I decided to start a new settlement from scratch over at Starlight Drive In and I'm up to 91% happiness now. Perhaps I'll get that trophy after all.

EDIT: Finally managed to get Benevolent leader and I just got the Platinum Trophy too. Considering I started this game 30/12/2015 this must be the longest it's taken me to unlock a Platinum Trophy :D

The director of New Vegas is working on "Project Louisiana".

"I was working on Fall.."

I want to believe.

As long as it's as relatively bug-free as Fallout 4 is, as compared to FNV....

Oooh yes. Yes please.

The illusion of Bethesda games broke for me with Skyrim. They make beautifully crafted worlds and systems but are terrible at plot and character. The latter two have always been the defining features of Fallout for me, but Fallout 4 was just completely lacking in both. In fact, the direction Beth have taken Fallout is so opposed to the one created by Black Isle they may as well be separate games. But Obsidian...they get it. New Vegas was layered, nuanced, full of references to the original Fallout games and universe. The side missions were frequently better than the main plots of Fallout 3 (and then 4) and the characters were actually characters instead of quest-givers with legs.

Please, please let this be real.

I just noticed a bunch of unique weapons going missing from storage in Sanctuary most of which were quest rewards. I assumed this was just a glitch but upon accidentally asking to trade items with a settler I spotted he was equipped with Pickman's Blade.

I investigated further and sure enough I found settlers equipped with Radical Conversion, Deliverer, Kellogg's Pistol and a few others. After I gave them shelter, food, water, exercise equipment and so much defence that even a pack of Deathclaws couldn't touch the place this is how the ungrateful swines repay me, by half inching my stuff?

I've half a mind to deal a little wasteland justice on their sorry asses... either that or take the fence and turrets down and let nature take it's course.

if enemies attack a settlement the npc settlers will head to the nearest storage and grab weapons to use to defend themselves.

That's only if you haven't equipped them with weapons already, right?

Played a couple of hours of Nuka World but only really just got to the actual Nuka World so can't really give a decent impression.
