If you're friends on PSN you can join the same server when you are both playing (unless Jawa is playing on some super special subscribers only server, idk).

Spot-on, Orange-san! Vermi, yes, you can join other players via the in-game friends list.

...and I usually am! . I pay for Fallout 1st, a sub service for which one of the features is Private Adventure, allowing you to play the game solo - or with friends that you allow to join. 98% of the time I am in Private Adventure because it's handy for building a camp without having other players wandering around.

Back in the summer of last year I did play alongside Pedz and Cumberdanes. It was pretty funny as I was in Private Adventure mode, merrily building in a world of my own, when I turned around and there was someone right behind me (in game, not irl  ). I was shocked and whipped my gun out... only to see that it was Pedz and then Cumbers. It scared the hell out of me! I'd unknowingly enabled an option to allow friends to join my Private Adventure  .

It was fun playing with these guys. Neither of them are into building (at all!) but we went and did a few missions together... which I barely ever do. We had a great time! Pedz and Cumberdanes have got way further into the game missions than I have!

I've finished creating this new modern build out in the Toxic Valley. I don't often choose a modern style - I'm more of a scavenger/lore kinda guy! - but I worked dang hard on this.

Hey, why not take a little wander around my treehouse build?

That looks great jawa! Love that kind of build, fun to figure out exactly how to place the structure and feels very immersed in the world.

Thanks, Orange! It was a spot I haven't built on before, right on the northern boundary in the Toxic Wasteland, and it worked out pretty well. Not too many beasties around!

Yay! I made it into the Fallout 76 Top Five camp competition! The competition is run weekly and my Treehouse camp was awarded the second spot :-). I've only made the Top Five once before so this was a great surprise.

The competition was run on YouTube by DTD Gamer for three years before TNG recently took up the reigns.

Worth taking a look at the vid - check out RadRux's robot build. It was built in custom mode (i.e. items can be placed anywhere without the usual build rules) but it's strawberry-floatin' incredible!

I ventured back out into the Ash Heap, walked through the grime and setup camp.

Thanks, Orange, dude! Competition is fierce and there are some very hardcore builders out there; I put a ton of time into building but, as with anything, there is always someone doing even more! It's cool, though, as I've gotten in with some of the community and most folk are so supportive :-).

Had downloaded around 50GB of Fallout 76, only for someone to bugger up and the download started again from scratch. :x

I want to get back to this someday and finish the end game and get the expansions done. P3DZ and I spent about 7 hours toiling through the constantly respawning robots of the last quest only to reach the end and find we couldn’t finish it as we hadn’t done all the necessary prep work.

Oh dear! Download speeds in the wasteland can be low, Vermi!

Yeah, I enjoyed playing a few missions with you and Pedz, Danes. The last update introduced a couple of bugs in the public servers (console crashing) and a hot fix is due this week, so you may be better to hold off for a short while!

It won’t likely be any time soon, got enough on my plate right now without adding FO76 back into the mix.

The latest weekly camp build competition video by TNG just got released. I always enjoy seeing this and I managed to get fourth spot this with with my latest Ash Heap build (see vid in previous post).

My personal fave was Nux's incredible truck build that got first place. The interior is just fantastic and I don't know he how he managed to devise such a build in Adventure mode!

I built this place on a mountainside of the Savage Divide. Take a look and, hey, go on the short tour, too, if you fancy it!

I just finished this new camp in the Forest. I'm pretty happy with how it turned out and I tried to really pack stuff in as decoration.
