Am I missing something? Who is Walker? Kyle? He's not in the squad - injured toe.

Changed my team a bit with the revelation that you only need two defenders:

Reus(GER)--Iniesta(SPA)--Pirlo(ITA)--Elm(SWE)--Strootman(NED)

Van Persie(NED)---Silva(SPA)---Giovinco(ITA)

Pretty happy with it, my bench is pretty crap, though.

I'll do my team later. Welbeck is also now an injury doubt, if anyone was considering him.

I'm considering throwing my weight behind Andy Carroll. I've just got a feeling...

Not surprised that so many people have Martin Olsson in their sides. For a defender that has scored 4 goals in 8 games for Sweden he is a bargin.

Going to wait to see what the final diagnosis is before switching him, no rush!

Tried picking my team... it's borked. Where's Andy Carroll? Why is Sturridge in the England squad? And Walker? And Smalling? And Johnson?

I seriously think Andy Carroll is going to surprise an awful lot of people. I want him in my fecking team!

I imagine it'll be updated when the deadline for squads has passed in a few days time.

Cool, didn't realise the deadline hadn't passed yet. Given England's injury concerns, it's probably for the best. Safe to assume all the other squads are wrong, too - think I'll be starting from scratch after the deadline.

Yeah think I'll revisit my squad once the systems have been updated with the new squads.

Just a quick bump to say there are only 9 more days until the deadline for anyone else interested in joining. The squads are all announced now so you can have a better idea of who will definitely be at the tournament.

Also, in case anyone didn't know: Defenders can now gain points from tackles and clearances.

For every 5 recovered balls (the total of clearances completed and gaining possession tackles) 1 point

I've joined the league now. Not entirely happy with my selections but I feel a bit out of touch with European football at the minute. I'll post my team in a bit.

Taken Jelavic out my team. He's only ever scored 2 goals for Croatia with the last one being in August 2010.

Struggling to decide between Giovinco and Cassano, the former had an incredible season whereas the latter hardly played, but he will be more of a focal point in the attack. Annoying.

Cech [CZECH REPUBLIC]

A Cole [ENGLAND]
M Olsson [SWEDEN]
K Papadopoulos [GREECE]

Iniesta [SPAIN]
Ozil [GERMANY]
Sneijder [HOLLAND]
Dzagoev [RUSSIA]

Van Persie [ HOLLAND] -captain-
Benzema [FRANCE]
Jelavic [CROATIA]

subs
Lindegaard [DENMARK]
Strinic [CROATIA]
Fetfatzidis [GREECE]
Abate [ITALY]

No places for Affelay and Koscielny unfortunately. Thought Sneijder was a more reliable pick and I don't think Koscielny will start. Also would have picked John Terry because I think he and England will spend a lot of time blocking shots, but he was too expensive.

Last chance for people to play !

Thanks for the bump, I was just about to remind people to pick their squads before tomorrow's deadline.

As good a time as any to unveil my squad (with a terrible defence).

Szczęsny Čech
Lescott Šimunić M. Olsson Maniatis Wass
Dzagoev Rosický Sneijder Young S. Larsson
Van Persie Gomez Jelavić

Quite happy with midfield and attack, going 2-5-3 all the way.

I didn't realise you could field only two defenders. Though I don't really want to swap Fetfatzidis for another midfielder that has a starting place. He's cheap, and only likely to come on as a sub, if that, but he looks truly amazing in videos.
