Ted: Well it looks bad all right. I gave Doctor Sinnot the symptoms over the phone and he says he's probably dead, all right. The pulse not being there is bad enough, but the heart stopping is the real danger sign.

Dougal: That happened to my uncle and he was fine afterwards.

Ted: His heart stopped? For how long?

Dougal: A week.

Ted: A week? Really? And he was fine afterwards?

Dougal (thinking): Actually, no. Now I think of it, he died.

All right. This is a long shot, but it's our only hope. I'm going to leave this paper and pencil here, and hopefully in the morning, God will have written down what we should do, okay?
