The following is easily the best piece of title screen music ever conceived in entertainment history:

I have other favourites, but this shall do for the moment.

Beyond Good and Evil soundtrack download here

It's great.

I love the ICO OST too, and Chris Tilton's work on the Black and Mercenaries soundtracks is fantastic, can't wait for Mercenaries 2.

This is the obligatory Phendrana Drifts post. You all know this track deserves more recognition.

Final Fantasy 7.

Each tune on that game is clear as day in my mind, if it comes on I could hum along to any of them the whole way through.

I'ver always been partial to the music from the F-Zero series, mainly F-ZeroX but it's all good.

It's between either

Alex Brandon's Area 51 track for Deus Ex, and

Tim Haywood's Playrooms track for Shadowman.

How do you actually embed videos? I've gone on Youtube, found the code, copied it here and have absolutely no idea what to do next. Help would be much appreciated.

There's no shortage of good versions of that song :)

And while we're on the subject of Castlevania, lets have a little Circle of the Moon Catacombs.

Utada Hikaru's Sanctuary. Amazing track, so much so that I've taken the "angels in flight" line and used it as my YouTube handle !

Totally agree with Abs on the Final Fantasy VII stuff though. I regularly listen to Nobuo Uematu's work on the Final Fantasy series, and FFVII and VIII's OSTs are real testaments to his genius work. The piano re-works of it are bloody phenomenal!

Yoko Shimomura's Kingdom Hearts work is bloody awesome too! Regularly indulge in it, especially if having a read.

FFVII Main Theme

Kingdom Hearts - Dearly Beloved

Kingdom Hearts - Always On My Mind

I'll have some of that Alv'! Awesome tune! Nothing quite like Phendrana Drifts was there?

Silent Hill 3's theme was quite a nice one too.

Those videos don't quite do it justice though. It needs the sense of motion you only get when you're stalking through the area.

You just select the "YouTube" tags just above your post and paste the url of the video in between :)

Some nice mentions but nothing, nothing, comes close to the Gusty Garden soundtrack.

Honourable mentions to...
