AC would definitely be nowhere near as good without the brilliant soundtrack, it comepletely sets the mood and feel of that game. A great example of awesome musical direction. The way the main theme is woven throughout is brilliant.

Having just completed inFamous 2 I had to post these amazing songs from the game.

:(

It's a pity the soundtrack to a game like this will get overlooked by most, but it really is fantastic work.

The 'All Your Base' stuff aside, this is a great 16-bit era tune.

What an absolutely glorious piece of music. One of, if not the most inspirational piece of music from any game this year; one I'd pay good money to own on CD with the rest of the game's soundtrack. It was taken from the fantastic RAGE intro:

I'll see that and raise you:

I found an album of Frank Klepacki's other non-Red Alert material and was curious to see what it was like, and surprise surprise, its more of the same:

Good call! Here's another amazing song from the same game:

Still need to grab a boxed copy of this game <_<

Also here's one I randomly came across, amazing guitar-laden song from an old side scrolling shooter starring a pink haired witch:
