I've got three pairs of Vans in various different colours and states of disrepair, and a pair of Nike trainers I picked up in the US in 2014 that offer pure comfort, but are ready for death now. I tend to rock a pair of River Island boots when I go out at the moment.

My main pair have florescent green soles and inners. Totally pull it off.

I have huge trouble buying trainers (and shoes). I think I have massively weird ankles and nearly all footwear cuts them up; I have to have trainers/shoes that are padded round the ankle area.

Adidas Superstars are my favourite "branded" trainers because of the ankle padding in the design, but I usually walking shoes / trainers because they give me the most comfort.

High tops or semi tops or nothing.

I have a flat converse style pair of DCs, suede though, not a fan of canvas. They're smart with laces if they weren't half embroidered camo, so just slightly more balls for a strawberry float it look.

Measured against what I paid - very good actually. Wouldn't recommend them for a dress up event but for work or a casual pub trip, more than good enough.

I've bought a load of Vans recently with their Disney/Nintendo collaborations, but my main trainers are Converse... Star Pro's? They're leather ones so they're a bit more weather proof that the canvas shoes so you can literally wear them every day without any real trouble.

Don't really wear these brands anymore, got a pair of Nikes for the gym but otherwise I'm into leather trainers now.

Have to say these are legit, I'm seriously tempted...

I wear Skechers currently, for a long time I was exclusively DC, they just fit so well, but I havent liked any of the stuff theyve put out in the last few years and Ive switched to Skechers. Im a creature of habit when it comes to shoes, I like to know theyll fit me well so I stick to a single brand for the most part.

Casual: Converse Jack Purcell, plain white. First time I put these on, my wife asked if I was having a mid-life crisis.

Running/gym: just got a pair of these, vastly reduced. Adidas Ultraboost. Most comfortable trainers I've ever worn. They were about £150 when they came out but I got them in the sale for £40.

I have a pair of plain black Vans and a pair of black Nike SBs that I normally wear to work.

I also own both low and high top Converse, though I rarely wear those.

Currently wearing Nike air max 2017 for the gym
But normally wear Vans when going out, they are so comfy for long walks and my back doesn’t hurt even after working for hours.
