+1 for DC supremacy here. I have plenty Nikes and Adidas and a few New Balance too but DC have always been my favorite.

Just got a few new pairs of sneaks. Nothing fancy. Got both pairs for £45 total from a sale online.

I can see these being ridiculously popular

Christ. My feet ache just looking at these. I can imagine the uneven lay of ground and every hard bump wrecking my poor feet as I wore these. Well, for extended periods of wear, anyway. Canvas trainers (I own a pair of Vans) aren't too bad for a quick and dirty shop, but I couldn't wear 'em all day.

My everyday "trainers" are actually Karrimor walking boots. I could tread on a jagged rock on those and I wouldn't know. And they're cheap to boot!

My workout trainers are a pair of Reebok Classic Leather. Best workout trainers ever. Super comfortable too, both on the inside and from the seemingly thin sole/tread.
