It's almost as if strawberry floating children is wrong.

It depends on the age though doesn't it. If the student is 16/17 and the teacher is in their early 20s it's probably a very different situation, no matter what the law may say.

Would it be fair to suggest that it wasn't the act itself that 'strawberry floated up' the lads involved, but the attention they received, then? So it was arguably the subsequent prosecution that did the most damage?

They need to man up and appreciate that they got to strawberry float a hot teacher.

In all seriousness though, I'd like to see some kind of stat on whether there has been an increase in these historical cases since the whole Savile thing came out. I definitely seem to hear of much more of this sort of thing since Savile, and I don't know whether that is because I am more aware of those kinds of stories or whether people are reporting more stuff from years ago.

I know of someone who could probably string a case together against one of his old teachers, not that he would want to.
