Completely missed this. I've been on my 360 all night but no-one added me, sent me a pm or a LIVE invite so I had no idea what was going on.
I should have the thread on 'subscribe' but any chance you could lemme know when we're organising something, Phoenix as I'm not always at my computer?

You're on my friends list anyway so just send us a quick memo when people are getting together.

Would be nice to have some practice games later on as. If not I'll try and get some in upfront as I've been a bit 'off' as of late.

Will do. I take it you're not a member of GRcade FC? Someone* will send you an invite.

I'll be around sometime tonight before kick off, if people want to get together.

I'd also encourage those who haven't been picked to be on at 9 if they can, in case we get any dropouts at the last minute.

Sorry to those of you who've missed out, but you WILL be involved at some point. I especially feel for Roonmastor, who put in a good shift tonight, but just missed out.

Yep, gutted. Finally started to find my feet by the end of the night in the winger position too. I'll probably be about tonight anyway. My 3rd blow in 24 hours after receiving a job rejection and then my laptop dying.

Poncho, I take it that you are in then?

Everyone else has confirmed their place, so it looks like we've got a full complement.

Unlucky lads, it was a fairly close match tonight. I'll talk more about how we can improve in the PMs for the next match, but basically we were poor in the final third and the number of people disconnected meant that we were dragged out of the position, and our game plan suffred as a result. Oh, and don't arrange League games right before kick off, Rich! It was only at the last minute that I invited Roon in, so apologies for not doing so earlier, as you didn't really have much time to get in.

Anyway, keep your chins up, and lets just blame Casillas for somehow letting that GM shot in. :shifty:

It was an incredible shot, but we might as well have Massimo Taibi in goal, considering how Casillas stood there like a tin of milk.

I think St Nick summed it up well in saying that "We'd have won 10-0" if you were playing. :P

If anyone wants some practice matches ahead of Sunday, then let me know and I'll make it happen. I've got a good idea of the team I'll be putting it, so it could be an ideal oppurtunity for anyone to really stake a claim for a place.

I'd be up for some practice matches one evening.

I'm also not arranging matches before the Rivals game again.

Could we have some practice games tomorrow? I've hardly played FIFA at all in the last week and need some practice. I can't afford another lapse performance up front (assuming I start of course).

Hell, I'd be up for some tonight.

I'm available pretty much all of the weekend, so if there are enough interested, we could indeed play tonight.

Great games tonight lads. Everyone involved played well and have given themselves a good chance of being involved on Sunday. Poncho seems to have re-discovered his shooting boots, and I seem to have found a pair as well! :P
