Welcome to the final FIFA 09 Tournament that I will be running and of course there will be an interesting twist this time as well. This time, everyone is going to be the same team. Why? Well, in order to find GRcade's best player I have to try and remove any reason why a player might have an advantage.
Anyway, the team everyone will be using is...
Bayern Munich
I chose them because they are one of the most versatile teams in the game, you can play a wide variety of formations and the players in the squad will give you options.
Also, seeds are out of the window this time. The draw for the group stages will be completely random you could be in a difficult group or an easy one. All in the luck of the draw this time, this is about finding out the forum's best player.
The Rules
The rules are similar to that of the GRcade Cup and World Cup but there are some changes, I've bolded rule changes
Places will be primarily decided by first come, first served but I'll make sure all the big players get in.

The Rules

Rule 1: Can you please arrange matches IN THE THREAD, this is so in case nobody turns up I know who has made an effort to get the match done. I just want to see who is making an effort in getting a match done.
Rule 2: After a match is played can BOTH TEAMS PM ME the result this time DO NOT send me goalscorers as everyone is using the same players, it'd likely get lost in the thread and it'll be an easy go to reference when I'm doing the tables etc.
Rule 3: 6 minutes each half, no extra time or penalties (yet). To set up 6 minute halves;
Xbox Live>Online Game Modes>FIFA 09 Match Creation>Head to Head Play>Create Match
Rule 4: You play each other ONCE ONLY
The Schedule
Matchday 1: Wednesday 12th August - Friday 14th August
Matchday 2: Saturday 15th August - Monday 17th August
Matchday 3: Tuesday 18th August - Thursday 20th August
Rule 5: Matches MUST be played within the zones to be determined, if neither team can make a specified date then some leniency may be given but you must get my permission BEFORE the time limit expires.
Rule 6: If everyone has finished a matchday before the time limit expires, the next matchday will begin the next day.
Rule 7: Anyone who misses one match will be given a point's deduction and the match will be forfeit, do it again you are thrown out of the competition.
Rule 8: If level on points positions will first be decided on Goal Difference, then Goals Scored and finally the head to head rule
Rule 9: Draws will be made for every single round with the only time any draw will be restricted for the 2nd round (when the group winners will play the runners up)
Rule 10: Please get your matches done and most of all have a laugh!
