Yeah that's that's where it falls apart I'm afraid.

The players still have no sense of fluidity, their movements are jerky with them randomly going from slow to fast in a split second. Remember PES 2014 (the first Fox Engine PES) where dribbling felt like gooseberry fool unless you held sprint, it's like that.

Responsiveness when passing between players feels completely random too, my hands ache when playing this, similar to PES 2010. I feel like they need to go back to FIFA 14 for the gameplay and build from there.

But still, dem grafix :datass:

Ok so I felt the need to provide video evidence of what I hate about FIFA.

5 seconds in, watch how the player suddenly stops mid run, does some weird animation spasm and plays a through ball all in a split second, it's impossible for a human being to move like that.

I conceded because of this :x

Totally agree - all show and not as much substance as pes 2017. Maybe both should join forces?

I miss the mid-90s when we had dozens of experimental football games, each contributing something something to the evolution of the genre.

And that's my excuse to plug another Kim Justice video

Pes 17 is the same as last year . It's very dull, shooting and goalkeeping is crap and the online is still going to be awful because it's Konami, they haven't a clue. If you want a pes vs fifa thread though then make one. As for other football games virtua striker 2 was my 90's gold.

Totally agree about the online, PES is awful online. Lag, every game against Barcelona/Real Madrid. My Club went down the pan when they made it F2P and it killed what was left of the servers. Amazingly pace is even more OP in PES online than FIFA. :fp:

Until they fix the online I can't seriously consider getting PES again, been burned too many times now. Playing the AI on both games is just dull tbh, online play has spoilt me.

Yeah I play the game pretty much online. I live the different styles people play and tactics and against ai it's just always predictable. Pes in this area loses everytime. The net code is crap, the online element is limited and overall it's just weak.

Tips for ultimate team. Rashford, Antonio and kante for a premier league team will be cheap and very good. Rashford from playing the demo is so good already even though being a low stat player.

I added it from the website: https://www.microsoft.com/en-gb/store/p ... vffddz0tl4

It's installing now, so I think it's worked.

It's REALLY slow compared to last years FIFA so it takes time to adjust, I kept thinking I was under hitting my passes but it was literally just the pace of the game. Played online seasons and lost first 2 games to last minute goals, the same thing that happened with last years and the year before. Takes me time to adjust to defending, I like that you can muscle people off the ball and even block their kicking foot in the penalty box with no foul given, so many fouls were too easy last year.

The only major downside was forcing me to play as Chelsea v Manu at the start, I say forcing me but I just quit! :)

Really enjoying the Journey mode. Some spoilers: Harry Kane (BOOOOOOOO) has forced me out on loan and now I have to play for Villa in the championship

As soon as I post that the trial runs out for Journey mode :fp:

Played a couple of matches in kick off as it's not 100% installed yet, (although I'l go through it all again when I download it on PS4 next week). So far so good, it's slower but then FIFA has always been stupidly fast compared to real football. Player movement and off the ball runs seem far more intelligent.
