It's only on xbox ,they don't have legends on playstation. Also to get that team you basically have to spend tons of cash buying packs ,getting lucky and making money on other cards to sell to then buy them. No way you get a team like that playing normally as each legend is worth in the hundreds of thousands of in game coins.

If you'reamazing at trading it's doable. I did spend cash as well around 150

Yeah that's a fair wack of cash but hey if you want to spend that it doesn't bother me as long as you enjoy the game . Strangely in the last month or so I've been able to afford some more informs ,team of the years and other higher cash types and found even though some are higher rated or have better stats I've been going for more players that just fit the system I play which sometimes involves just regular players rather than informs. Inform icardi though for my series A team is bloody awesome.

Players have become significantly cheaper since TOTS caused an influx of pack buying (as it does every year). I managed to buy Aguero at around 76K, I've never been able to afford players like that in UT before.

Looking forward to hearing more about this, FIFA 16 in undoubtedly my favourite FIFA of all those I've played (each one since 09, and a lot of them too). It's pretty much balanced perfectly, so hopefully a new engine doesn't throw all that away.

I also noticed they've put rendered players on the boxart rather than photos, clearly showing off. Now what do James, Hazard, Martial and Reus have in common...

Fabian Delph is a banana split.

Meh, not bothered. I only use fifa for seasons. As long as they keep that mode I'll buy it again.

You play as Alex Hunter (not swapping in someone else like 2K16). Start as a 17-year-old. You get to choose the Premier League team you join. And your role on the club (starting 11, sub, or reserve - where you'll just be doing training) is based on the rating with your Manager and you'll be in control of playing all of his minutes on the pitch.

Can confirm, this is weird and super-melodramatic and that's exactly why it could work. A week or so back we saw a cutscene with Harry Kane delivering dialogue having signed for Leicester - it was mad.

Oh, but the game itself as much of a slog as last year

Some interesting modes and talk about the engine but i need to see some proper gameplay, it looks nice so far on the trailers but they always make it look great. It never though gives you a real idea of how it will play and what's been tweaked.

It sounds utter gash.

Wouldn’t it be better to start as a player in the lower leagues and work your way up (like a non-racist Vardy) rather than just starting at a Premier League side?

That sounds boring. I remember when the older FIFA games wouldn't let you manage any big teams from the start. :dread:

Yeah the new mode makes it sound very odd, like a WWE game story line where you can make a rivalry with another player/manager etc. Is this replacing the be a pro mode then?

Well that new footage looks good. Even with it being blurry i can already see the player models and animations have changed a bit. SOme interesting bits of movement going on in places as well from some players when doing skills and jinking runs. Overall not bad i look forward to playing it and seeing what tweaks they've made.

Looks like they've changed set pieces, so from corners and indirect free kicks you can just move a reticule to the spot where you want to aim, and they've done something with penalties too.

Yep, I also noticed you can move a bit with throw ins.

Indirect free kicks? Are they even in the game
