Death to Smoochy 8/10. One of my favourite Robin Williams films and one that kicked off his small run of dark movies at that time. No idea why this got so panned at the time, I strawberry floating love it. One Hour Photo is still the best of the three, though.
I had totally forgotten that Jon Stewart was in this. He's aged so much in 15 years.
I still have to watch Ichi The Killer.
I've been meaning to watch Ghost In The Shell actually, what with the new one coming out. Never seen it before.
i watched Ghost in the Shell when i was at uni, so sometime between 2008-10? didnt think much of it at the time, a lot of Blade Runner/teenager philosophy going on but i dont remember it very well so ill give it another chance!
I recommend watching Ghost in the Shell in Japanese with English subtitles as the English dub isn't particularly accurate to some of the plot points, particularly the last 15 minutes which makes far more sense when watched with subtitles on.

Yeah i remember it making zero sense at all. I had the english dub on VHS back in the late 90s or so. Most animes then seemed to make zero sense, probably down to poor dubs. I must give it a rewatch sometime. The animation is still incredible.
Ghost In The Shell 8/10 That was pretty good. Animation was amazing and the music as well. It was a tad confusing, though, with all the names and agency titles being thrown about. I had to check the Wikipedia plot summary afterwards to make sure I understood it all correctly. My biggest take-away from the movie was how much The Wachowski's lifted from it for The Matrix. There's a lot of this in the Metal Gear Solid series as well.
