Me too. Very amateurish feel to it.

Aye. It felt like a sixth form version of Goodfellas.

I really liked it. Loved the opening timing of 'Be My Baby' kicking in with Harv's head hitting the pillow. And his walk through the party while he's off his face.

The French Connection is one that springs to mind for me. I think I've seen a fair deal of 'classics' but there's bound to be loads that I've missed out on. Nothing from the past 5 years though as it's all shite. (kind of)

EDIT: Rush post, there. To clarify, what I meant was that I'm finding it hard to think of films that I've seen in the past few years that I can see being hailed as a classic in years to come, or even ones that I can quite happily sit down and watch over and over.

Mind you, my memory's shocking so I'll probably be proven wrong on that. Which would be good.

I've loved watching films and following the industry for as long as I can remember but I struggle to get much enjoyment out of whatever tie-in, reboot, remake or retelling that seems to get rolled out on a weekly basis.

Oooooh, definitely make it your mission to watch that! One of the best series of all time, imo. So good, particularly on Blu-Ray.

This. Currently rewatching it and it's so good.

Another great marathon that needs to happen! It may take you a bit longer though. And just avoid The Departed, still can't believe it was that pish that won him an Oscar.

Never seen Green Street, lot of people seem to take exception to that for some reason. Also never seen Dr. Strangelove, which funnily enough is on tonight.

Skippy, you've probably heard this a million times but you must watch The Wire and The Sopranos, you're in for a treat. For the people who haven't seen The Godfather, if you have any interest in films at all, watch it.

Not sure I have time for four movies in a row, but maybe North By Northwest and 12 Angry Men would make a good double bill for a lazy Sunday afternoon.

By that token, I've never seen a Nick Love/Danny Dyer film in its entirety.

It's on my list. I'll probably start watching it next time a slot opens up so I can dedicate some real time to it.

Much of Pedro Almodóvar's 80's and 90's output. I've seen Pepi, Luci, Bom but then there's a big gap before Live Flesh comes along. I guess this makes me a fairweather fan, only there for the beginning and then when he achieved something close to mass recognition. Over the last year I've introduced my mum to a few of his films, so there's my incentive to hunt down the rest.

Six Feet Under and The Shield.

I'm also not sure if I ever seen all of Aliens in one sitting. I'm certain I have seen all the film though. I did watch all of Bugs or whatever the rubbish sci-fi ripoff was called though so thats close enough right?

Don't really watch that many films, so I'll just list a few, mostly the same as a lot responses in here:

Films
The Terminator 1 and 2 (have watched 3*, though)
Blade Runner
Raging Bull
BTTF Part 3
Mission Impossible
Goodfellas
Any Rocky film
The four that Sat listed
Pretty much every Hitchcock/Scorsese film
*Thinking about it, probably that, Batman & Robin and Predator are the only Arnie films that I've watched.

TV
Band of Brothers
Freaks and Geeks
Twin Peaks
Boardwalk Empire
The Sopranos (well, about two episodes)
Haven't watched past the first season of Mad Men or Six Feet Under as I found them really dull.
