The West coast would apparently be just far enough away from the most likely nuclear targets in the UK so there'd be pockets of Mayo, Galway, Kerry and Cork left habitable.

In all seriousness, the thing that depresses me is that the odds of a catastrophic event happening on a weekend are lower than it happening during the week (2/7 compared to 5/7). So I'm most likely going to be stuck in an office block with people I don't really care about or want to spend my last minutes with when the missiles start hitting. What a shitter.

I kind of wish I lived on the other side of London so I could try and do a runner for Cornwall. Although living in South end on sea has given me experience of what a post apocalyptic England will be like so I guess there's that.
