we could use the nuke map combined with the forumite location tracker map combined with probable targets to see who would be affected.

The only way you will admit that Clinton was a better choice than Trump would be if the world was about to be consumed in a nuclear holocaust? :dread: :fp: ;)

I assume any all out nuclear attack would target most of the British cities and so I would be toast.

If they were just hitting London and strategic targets then I might be ok. We have a large MOD site on the outskirts of Bristol, but I should be far enough away from that to be ok from the initial blast at least.

I am not sure that it is better to survive an extra few days/weeks while rotting away from radiation sickness though. Instantly being turned to ash might be a better way to go.

I think the database is in london however :( I hope you have off site backups

Nar the server and DB etc. is in France I do believe.

I think Karl should PM us all his address during the last three minutes so any survivors can regroup at his.

That will be safe then when France surrenders. Although all of our details will be surrendered and added to spam and phising lists... so we still lose

I just had a thought, would we actually know it was happening? I mean it would probably take more than three minutes for the news to get through to the web at least. I'm guessing we wouldn't know anything until the first bombs started hitting.

But even then unless the Russians tell use first it's still going to take time for the government to get the Emergency broadcast system going. Surely that'll take at least three minutes.

In all seriousness if Wales survives relatively unscathed then I'll be there, so if you can trek through the fallout to Wales you're welcome to say hello...

To be honest if it did happen I might have a go at getting over to you. Although getting around London would be a nightmare. I'd probably head up into Norwich.

Wales isn't a bad place to be in a nuclear war, I think. Cardiff will get absolutely bullied, and Swansea is 50/50 to be honest, but who's going to nuke Bangor or Aberystwyth? Good place to head. Same for Scotland outside of Edinburgh, Glasgow, and that town near where they keep the Trident subs, I imagine.

Tbh there's no infrastructural reason for Edinburgh or Glasgow to be nuked - they'd just go for Faslane and the entire central belt will cease to exist.

Why did I think you lived in Blackburn, Cora? I mean either way you'd be living in a wasteland.

Has anyone watched this before? It's actually pretty good, 30 mins long and pretty scary.
