I so nearly made that joke myself, but I thought it would be nice for someone else to pick up.

At least he's leaning to the side to see where he's going, ask the others are just staring at the back of a chocobos head!

Voice acting still seems to stretch the spectrum from "passable" to "utter dogshit" but I'm looking forward to the ride.

Replayed a bit of Remake last night and whilst partly it was great to dip back into it, I was also reminded of all the really rough edges that game had, especially in the combat system. Really hope they've spent some of the time improving it and not just churning out more filler content...

Never knew Cid was meant to be 32. Thought he would be in his early 50s.

All that yelling of him being an old man in the original too. Guess they are doing the over 30 is old trope in most anime/manga stuff.

Yuffie is 16 in the OG so I guess 32 is old to her and she is the one that calls him an old man.

This game does look huge, I wonder where it will end as it now has Cid in the trailers.

It looks brilliant. I'll buy it later during the year.

I mean, the end of the first part means that logically the flow of the narrative and introduction of characters doesn't necessarily need to happen in the same order - so Cid could turn up earlier than in the OG FFVII

That said, I think this will go up to Meteor being summoned and the weapons being released

I could see this being right, would be an ideal stopping point.

This is gonna need close to 150 Gb of SSD space. Some folk might need to clean-up their storage space to fit this in!
