Never played XIII. I used to like Final Fantasy, but I just don't have the time now.

If it's got the same battle system (only with the ability to control everyone) I'd be ok with this.

I still need to finish X-2, though

Square Enix strikes me as a company that tries time and time again to create games that the public didn't even know they want and usually just end up making games that no one wants.

Im playing FFXIII currently and have to say it is one of the weaker games of the series...

not sure if I would like to see a sequel to this, and FFXIII-2 reminds me too much of FFX-2 which had a very nice battlesystem but nothing else

IX is still the best. Should make a IX-2, make it a Zelda-style hack and slash focused around Steiner/Beatrix.

Squeenix should just employ me to be their ideas guy.

VI /thread

Playing VIII through again on the PSP wasn't as exciting as FFIX for me. I ended up getting bored (stuck ) at the end of disc 3. I still need to go back and finish it

The story from IX is just incredible. Especially that ending...

PS1-wise for me it's IX>VIII>VII.

Playing VII after VIII probably didn't help that, though.
