Do they still have the iconic spiky hair from the old games?

Yeah, I was using the flurry attack of Garuda to trigger the lightning orb on staggered enemies to build the multiplier. Good times.

Yeah. It's much more fun than just using big meaty attacks on cool down.

Though I do have a couple of those, Titans big ol punch does insane damage if you do it after the multiplier has gone up

I tend to go for more staggers rather than big staggers. Use all my abilities to build stagger, LB when the enemy is down to get some safe healing out of it. If the ability comes off cool-down during a stagger I save it for when the stagger runs out to get them down again faster

The boss fights and Gavin's accent are the two best things in the game.

I've not returned to the game since finishing it as new game plus is just a mix up of enemies and sadly no new abilities, moves or powers.

Wish my image sig would work

Every time Ifrit is on screen is just hype as all strawberry float.

The funny thing is that during the demo the eikon fights looked to be all spectacle with very limited gameplay, but each time one rolls around it's like "here's some brand new mechanics we're going to throw in just because it's cool as hell and a lot of fun". Like it's Bayonetta or some gooseberry fool.

The idea this game takes itself too seriously gets funnier every time Ifrit is on screen.

Someone at a restaurant: “this food is hot but it’s not too hot”

It's almost like different scenes can have different tones and there isn't a moogle dance party front and center of the screen while Clive is watching soldiers torch a village and kill fleeing civilians.

Jill is one of the most boring characters in any videogame ever made. Thankfully Clive is one of the best FF protagonists!

Just done the mid game point of no return. This game is gooooood. Looks like will unlock hunts soon which looking forward to.

Her voice actor was the girl who did This Time with Alan Partridge. But yeah she is a bit meh so far.

I'm only just up to Eastpool, heading back to the Phoenix Gate so I'm still relatively early on. Only got the two Eikons so far.
I do like the snazzy new outfit Clive just got. Looks sharp. 8-)

Trying to put more time into this as I'd like to play other things before Armored Core comes out next month.

Just got my first death (not counting the time I let a bomb explode on me because I wanted to kill it in the dumbest way). One of the S-rank hunts, Svarog the dragon. Damn near one shot me.

Basically all the moves I use are built around it.

Well thats an absolute kicking :slol: looking forward to getting these abilities!

Have 3 Eikons now so getting nice variety of attacks and also just done first few hunts to kick their arse with. Combat is just excellent.

Distinct lack of FF16 merch on sale officially, a few very cool Eikon/Dominant posters on Etsy may buy for games room.

Which is why I made this! I did the map back in January and then framed it a few weeks back.
