On a similar "wtf mon" note, hopefully we can all agree that this:

Is insanity. Up is arguably one of their best films.

Nope, the opening was incredible, but the film got worse after they landed; I didn't like the dogs or main villain, and found the last section fairly silly. Still a very good film, but I left disappointed. Same problem with Wall-E; it was brilliant until everyone started speaking. It's undoubtedly a good film, though it's hard not to be left disappointed when the films start that strongly.

It probably is partially nostalgia too; I saw films like A Bug's Life and Toy Story when I was younger and remember them much more fondly, and I would be more critical if watching it for the first time now.

Wait, wat? Nemo is arguably one of the best ambassadors for 'Pixar Charm' there's ever been.

Good news on them announcing a sequel, although I'm (slightly) gutted that Disney continue to plunder their box of past successes rather than creating fresh stories .

I don't really remember Finding Nemo, but I recall leaving the cinema underwhelmed. I could do with rewatching it really, might go through all the Pixar films again soon.

Yeah. It's a Cars spin-off.

As if giving Cars a sequel wasn't bad enough :dread:

Planes could be cool.

Hoepfully they have helicopters and zeppelins too.

zeppelins

Is that the really violent one? Where theres like this battle between small bugs and bigger bugs.

I clearly remember watching a movie with ants or wood lice or something with army helmets on kicking the gooseberry fool outta each other, 1 survives and goes on a journey of self discovery.

I liked A Bugs Life but Monsters Inc is my favourite. Up is god-tier.

No. He just has shocking taste in films.

Finding nemo is gooseberry fool but Love Actually is a work of genius!

Snore.

Finding Nemo lacks the Pixar charm. It's forgettable, and as thus is a bad Pixar film.

Just accept it, Dennis, then we can move on.

Like strawberry float - you watch some shite and then post bollocks like Nemo isn't any good?

It's a quality film. A quality Pixar film.

I'm with Frank, never really gotten on with Finding Nemo. I've always found it somewhat bland.

Dory was one of the most annoying characters I've seen in a long time. I guess if they're trying to find her, that means she won't be in most of the film, but 5 mins would be too much.

I really didn't enjoy Wall-E as much as I probably should have. The Toy Story series though is a film series I'll never forget. I cried at the end of the third one, as did my Dad. :fp:

No idea where all this hate has suddenly come from. There's only one Pixar film I haven't seen, the rest are all at least good, even cars.
