And do **** off, Photek. Pretty sure I've told you already.

I didn't but we've been somewhat at odds of late in the debates though i didn't think it was personal at all and was just since he'd done a 180 and we were firing across the trenches for fun.

Shame if he does feel that way, I thought he said he was being the fanboy for a bit of fun and to play devils advocate, shame if getting a bit of reaction has made Chris feel he can't stay. I guess it wasn't a fun stance at all.

I would be surprised if it was anything said in this thread Kev, it's pretty tame stuff really.

I fear it might be. We've pm'd plenty in the past so I suspect to be ignored when he leaves means i'm seen as guilty.

We've pm'd about our debats in the past and i honestly thought he was a sony fanboy for a bit of fun and to provoke to debate. I'll happily leave well alone if he really has a loyalty for the brand now, gets upset by these debatsand needs us to leave alone as i wouldn't want him driven away like that. I've messaged him accordingly.

I didn't get a PM either. I was gonna leave meself but thought, f*** it, I like this forum and I get on with most of the people on here so I shouldn't let some gitso's get me down. 360 gets slagged to bits in here and to be honest, as much as it annoys me, I never fealt angry about it really. It's the name calling that gets on my tits. :x

yeah it does but wierdly that seems to upset folks less.

perhaps we need to admit they're all unreliable pieces of gooseberry fool, the console makers are all greedy corporate bastards and they'd sooner piss on our graves than give a gooseberry fool about us.

Why exactly do we do their marketing for them and fight over them?

wankers. oops.. there I am name calling

So just read back through the thread. So PSN is gonna charge like XBL?

Only a month ago Microsoft got murdered on here for doing this and now that Sony are doing it, it immediatley becomes worth the money!?

The hypocrisy done by Suzz a few pages back was pretty damning imo but as I have said to him numerous times in pm's and the like, I like suzz, I even like his passion for Sony. His suggestion's that he's NOT a Sony fanboy is laughable though. I get called a fanboy 24-7 in here and It doesn't bother me in the slightest because to an extent I am. I hope suzz returns cos we need him to go bat gooseberry fool mental over some new PS3 exclusive games that are only possible on PS3. ;)

I think any that have a preference for one and spend most of their time on it could considered a bit of a fanboy but those who spend their time exclusively on one and knock the other, refusing to go near it, can't really argue with the label. why would they care though what people think if that's their preference?

I was just thinking about this. It occurs to me that the one reason it might not is if it is held back unil they're ready to charge for it.

You've got to be kidding me. The XBOX360 has the strongest following on this forum. I'd suggest you trawl through the back catalogue of topics and look for which format gets the most stick.

It's been more equal of late but historically what you say is clearly, and evidently, not the case. But hey, that's what happens when one format get release in plenty of time before it's competitor and has a batch of great games to play as well as feature rich, unified online infrastructure.

The hypocrisy done by Suzz...

Did you actually run down the list of items because to me it's seems you don't actually understand what's what, even though it's been clarified by Suzz. Online gaming will continue to be free...it's not part of a pricing plan. As is messaging. In fact all the stuff gamers can do on PSN now will remain free. These 'Options' are value added services over and above present features to provide more services if we want them.

So PSN is not going to charge like XBL...online gaming, messaging etc... will still be free. The core elements for connecting your console online will still be free for every user.

Personally I'm not going to pay for any of that shite. I just want to play online and communicate with gamers...and I can do that for free.

As has already been pointed out, the 3 year warranty on the 360 only covers the RROD and maybe one other fault. I know of 2 people who have had to pay for repairs that were not RROD. So it is not actually a fully covered 3 year warranty.

Given that I'm currently paying £5 a month for Sony's continuous play extended warranty dealy, that £50 annual full feature sub Suzz mentioned sounds mighty tempting.

I have someone on my f-list who has a silver account. We chat via text messages on Live.

If you have a silver account you cannot send someone messages from xbox.com, that's how it was for me when I had silver anyway.
