It's straight from the GH website, so I'm willing to trust it for now.

Seems PS3 GHIII allows Rock Band Geetar usage, not 360 :x

That said my Rock Band Strat is strawberry floated anyway, the wire going into the controller keeps disconnecting the controller whenever i move it  I really dont want to get a Guitar hero controller though, as I hate the clicking strum bar

Does the Rock Band guitar work with GH3 now then? I'll have to rebuy it if that's the case.

Guitar Hero Metallica bundle for Europe

Activision today announced a European exclusive Guitar Hero Metallica Solo Guitar Gem bundle which includes an exclusive guitar controller faceplate featuring the iconic Metallica skull motif, a copy of the game and a wireless guitar controller.

Guitar Hero Metallica will allow fans to experience what it's like to be part of world-renowned metal and rock band, Metallica, while shredding on the guitar controller, ripping on the drum kit controller and wailing on the mic to a set list of over 45 hits from both Metallica’s career and more than 20 popular artists selected by the band.

The game will also feature an all-new Expert+ drum difficulty setting, available for all platform versions of the game, featuring two bass drum kick pedals for an authentic Metallica experience.

Guitar Hero Metallica is scheduled for release across Europe and in Australia on May 22, 2009 and in the UK on May 29, 2009 for the Wii, Xbox 360, PS3 and PS2.

There's not enough Metallica songs in this! I wish here had been a lot more and a lot less other bands :|

Still, it's the first music game to actually get me to spend more then 5 minutes with the drums

I'm so getting that guitar bundle. The Death Magnetic download code is a no brainer too, as I'd be buying that with it anyway. :D

I've never enjoyed playing drums what so ever; but I manged to go through career mode in one session on drums on this (easy mind you, i still can barely hit 4 let alone 5 stars) and didn't realise I had played so much :P

Completed bass tonight, how incredibly dull.

Just got vocals to do tomorrow; oddly enough I can do any Metallica song fine, but a non-metallica song and I fail within moments :fp: Might have to drop it down to hard instead

The Death Magnetic DLC is a must for anyone really, though anyone who is really interested in: A. Guitar Hero and B. Metallica would have no doubt already downloaded it to use with either GH3 or World Tour.

What we really need is some more Metallica DLC for this, even if it's just a small 3-song pack or something.

I don't like the album that much, but some of the songs are really fun to play (same goes for Frantic; gooseberry fool song, a load of fun to play along too)

More Metallica songs are needed; there's just not enough - Maybe because it was DLC for RB that it wasn't added in the game, but I need me some "…And Justice for All" in this; also wouldn't mind some more St.Anger to be thrown in seeing as Frantic is pretty fun to play

I'm assuming the second pedal can be used on all difficulty levels and not just expert+??
