Like I said, it's practical, I wear it forwards if the sun's infront of me to keep the sun out of my eyes, and backwards to keep the sun off my neck.

This isn't excusing twats who wear Panama hats like there's multiple sun's or something.

As a Yorksherman I have a soft spot for flat caps but wouldn't wear one as I know I'd look like a twat in one.

What's wrong with flat caps? I wear one if I go out on a long country walk in a big coat and wellies. I wouldn't wear it day-to-day like some chavs wear baseball caps, but it has its place in my wardrobe and sees plenty of use during Autumn and Winter.

I wear unstructured (fit head not doofus NY kind baseball caps outside), the correct way, because I cba to do my hair and rather cover up. And I get them for 2.75 so can pick different nice cotton ones.

But flat caps .. Hmm no not really.
