Apparently this is your body detoxing but I'm sure it must be doing more harm than good.

Just thought I wud warn people about juicing

You're the poster of the year mate.

This is a parody of the space cake thread right?

Probably not, you'd almost certainly get bored of it yes but make you unwell, I doubt it. Make you more well? I doubt it. The kidneys and liver do all the 'detoxing' your body needs. Just eat your 5-a-day and you'll be fine. If you don't like fruit and wanna smash them all into a handy drink to down in one, go for t. But don't replace meals with it. You're probably lightheaded cuz you're obviously a hypochondriac, and if you're only drinking liquid celery and eating nowt else, those 9 calories will probably make your body incredibly weak.

Just incase you missed it, juicing is wank. Make sure to Instagram your efforts though otherwise it really is worthless.

strawberry floating hell

Bunni: doesn't juice her veg, nor does she mince her words.

(I agree, btw)

I misread that at first.

Sounds like you picked up some dodgy space watercress, a lot of it comes from Holland and is laced with cannabis. The Dutch do it on purpose as they seem to like getting high off of it, but they forget that the rest of the world is a little more sensitive to its effects.

Haha actually was buying bacon the other day and put it back as it was from Holland, picked up a pack from Denmark instead. Still have bad memories of Holland atm.

Btw I have been eating normally and not substituting juice for normal meals. A quick Google shows the devastating effects of juicing. Think I got away lightly as I have not experienced any violent vomiting or diarrea :)

I've sat here for 5 minutes just looking at the screen trying not to laugh.

I stood up for you in the space cake thread, but that's it now.
This is trolling for a reaction now surely.

Has anyone tried the Charlie Bigham range of ready meals? So many people seem to really like them, but apart from the novelty wooden packaging on some of the meals I've had (which can be prone to burning in the oven I found) I failed to see what warranted spending £7 on one. I mean what I've tried has been nice (Tikka Masala, Lasagne, Macaroni Cheese, Chilli Con Carne & Meatballs Al Forno) but they were either no better than other premium equivalents elsewhere or I just simply couldn't see the point as it was easily made yourself (surely everyone is capable of knocking up a Chilli Con Carne?).

The bloke isn't even a qualified chef! He was a management consultant.

Had another go at posh kebabs last night, made them with slow roasted lamb shoulder, I gave it 4 hours in a low oven, sliced it thin, knocked up some flatbreads, sliced some veggies, smothered it in hot sauce, it was pretty damn good. :datass:

Paul Hollywood's "How to Bake" is £1.69 on Kindle at the moment so I've picked that up. I might post a few pictures in here of anything I don't burn too badly.

Made a Vietnamese roast chicken last night, was very good! A nice different spin to a classic roast.

Tonight's dinner, mackerel, potato and beetroot salad. The dressing elevates it from nice to lovely.

Here you go

I only had dried dill and no spring onions, also threw in a couple of handfuls of mixed leaves to bulk it out.

Nice one, Rex, looks good.

I might give that one a go soon - trying to reduce the amount of stodge we eat. I do a very good line in 'comfort' food, but really need to broaden my horizons a little.

I don't have pics, sadly, but this week we've had:

Pork steaks in lemon, garlic and rosemary dressing with a cannelini bean and spinach salad,
Greek Chicken with couscous and vegetables (picture below, it's from Jamie's 15-minute meals.)
Image

Healthy lamb kebabs with roasted cherry tomatoes, yoghurt and mint dip, carrot, radish and spring onion salad and pittas.

So it's been going pretty well so far. Just need to reduce the amount of meals I make that include my lovely cheese sauce :fp:

Currently making some lemon baked potatoes.

- thinly chopped potato slices (skins on)
- olive oil
- paprika
- salt
- ground pepper
- mixed herbs
- 1/2 lemon juice

If they're any good I'll post about them later. If you don't hear from me I strawberry floated it. :slol:
