Going by the characters' 1920s outfits it looks like a tie in to the upcoming Fantastic Beasts film.

Also, +1 for that dude straight up murdering a goblin.

Really hope this isn't what Rocksteady have been working on.

I'm not a fan of Harry Potter in the slightest. I just never "got" it. Though if other people are excited by it then fair enough.

I'd have loved them to do another Batman game, especially with the updated engine they used for Arkham Knight, but I can get them wanting to step away from that (Plus there's not much of a story to follow on from).

This looks alright but it's not for me.

That trailer does a better job at capturing what I took away from the books than the film did.

I've seen the description, and it's looking like the kind of thing I've been asking for from this series for ages. Ever since and possibly even before EA disappointed with the Deathly Hallows games.
After Order of the Phoenix and Half-Blood Prince it looked like the gameplay was set in stone for any future games and even new games away from Harry's class, such as what's being presented here. EA never took it, and the closest we ever got since were the LEGO Harry Potter games.

EA really wasted the license with some pretty awful tie in nearing the end of the film franchise.

I really do hope this is true cause there is certainly a lot of potential here to make not just a great Harry Potter game but a great game in general.

The best HP game i ever played was Order of the Phoenix, it was everything i'd hoped a Potter game would be.

Half Blood Prince was fun, but it was a much more linear game without all the neat little side quests and collectables that the previous game had, which was a little disappointing.

The setting is interesting since it means it can stand on its own. Have wanted a proper HP game since forever so I'm hyped.

For a world so rich with possibility, there has been a real dearth of original content set within its bounds. Colour me excited.

I hated the film's. HATED them. I then read all the books a while after the last film came out. I liked the books.

I'd be all for a proper Harry Potter game. Fingers crossed.
