Well this thread got very tribal all of a sudden.

It's just like what happened when Alexander the Great died (got promoted to the Premier League), and all his generals fought amongst themselves.

When Boro win the Premier League next year, I'll also weep, for there will be no more leagues to conquer.

Yeah, allusions to classical history. You don't that in the Premier League thread. I have to go back to reading how hard Man United fans have it and Photek's disturbing man love towards Klopp and Coutinho.

EDIT - Oh yeah, and nothing against Forest, but I'm Team Derby. Forest have always been a massive bogey side for us, and bar this year when we won at the City Ground, the last time we got three points there I'm pretty sure they were serving flagons of mead at half time.

Parksey's vote for TeamSheep doesn't count as he's no longer entitled to be in this thread ;)

I welcome Glowy as our new FL leader - for He has come down from up above and us mere FL'ers now wait with baited breath for His words of wisdom and guidance. He has spoken and He has declared, lo, that GR FL'ers should follow Forest and l for one will heed His words.

#TeamForest

With Newcastle down we also inherited Robbo and also all of the other, lesser Villa fans this season. I for one welcome our new overlords. ;)

Yes Wimbledon! What a story, fairytale stuff.

Congrats Pancake, glad it was you if it couldn't have been us.

Wimbledon is no fairytale, it's just them getting themselves back to their natural place in the ecosystem after being wrongly pit to the bottom.

LOL Plymouth.

Well yeah, but it is still pretty impressive. Also the fact that MK Dons got relegated last season into the same league makes it even sweeter for them.

Forgot to laugh at Plymouth too. What a shame.

You guys.

Such a fantastic, surreal, day! I don't think I had really understood what winning meant until that first goal and then I was suddenly a complete wreck of nerves! But all in all it felt like one great big happy party, even before the game. :toot:

Difficult to be objective from where I was sitting / standing / jumping around but Plymouth seemed a bit toothless, don't remember them creating any good chances from open play. I think we deserved the win!

Respect to the Plymouth fans though, there were loads of them, they were loud, a lot stayed in their seats after the final whistle, and every one I spoke to was humble and gracious.

What a day. Still in shock I think but those memories.
