At least it's not John O'Shea or Ally McCoist. :toot:

Off to St Andrews tomorrow with 2799 other NFFC fans. Last time I went there, van Hoojdonk scored 2 goals in the last 5 mins to win 2-1 and we got chased back into the ground by about 500 Bluenoses!

Hoping for a similar result without any post match drama.

Off to see Royal Blood afterwards too :toot:

Strange choice by him. I’m sure he could have got a better job especially as the Sunderland owner doesn’t seem like he’s investing.

Feels like absolutely forever since we last had a league game.

We've got a fairly kind run of fixtures coming up, with 4 out of 5 games against teams in the bottom half. It'll be typical to go on an awful run now, having successfully navigated a bunch of games against the more fancied teams recently.

Getting thoroughly outplayed by Fulham and deservedly losing at half time. :simper:

Oh my God  could easily be highlights from a Sunday league game.

Good win for Pompey today. Pitman is just different class  didn’t have a particularly great game but had one half-chance and took it.

Kennedy showing Jackett exactly why he should start him over Bennett. Not sure why he hasn’t started the last couple of games, he’s by far our brightest spark and the most likely player to create something.

A cracking 3-0 away win for us today. One odd thing that came from the game was the attendance figures which were:

Bury - 3,553
Rovers - 3,606

It can't be often that an away team takes more fans to the game than the home team, especially when it's a league game.

It appears that your keeper has learnt too much from Jason Steele.

7th place and 2 points off the playoffs! Not bad considering we've lost 9 this season (and won 9). Still no draws

What a weird game. First half, concede an early goal but then probably okay our best half in a while, absolutely pounding them with attacking pressure and having about 7 corners, 70% possession and producing some great goalkeeping from Carson.

Then inmediately into the second half, we piss all over any optimism by giving the ball away in a stupid position and conceding a penalty. Ayala miraculously escapes a second yellow, only to take down a Derby player on the half way line straight after. I mean literally how thick cab you be to do that. And then our keeper slices a backpass straight to Vydra for a third.

Well worth staying up until 2am for. Were such a baffling side, with no consistency and always simultaneously on the cusp of excellence or calamity. Win today and it would have been 5 wins out of 6 after an indifferent start to the season. Instead it's just back to that indifference and no real form. Other teams are already pulling away, and they're going to be hardnto catch before too long. Some fans already think it's gone.

As you can imagine, I'm extremely pleased with the result!

What form Vydra is in at the moment.
