Yeah, I’d hate to have their history of league championship and FA Cup wins as well as recent memories of Premier League football..... ;)

Just when you think you can't dislike a club any more....

That last minute Derby penalty cost me £150. :fp:

Sunderland is a big club to be competing with next season.

Good to see Birmingham City basically confirm their stay in the Championship.

Sounds like a great game to be live at.

For a Hull fan or a neutral maybe.

Defence was awful, well defence and Fielding :x

Had a VIP experience today, was good. Shame about the score

It wasn't even a penalty if the radio commentary was anything to go by, either.

Big win for us today. Bristol City, Millwall and Sheffield Utd all dropped points and for once we actually showed up and put in a performance in both halves when it mattered.

Got Millwall at home next week but yesterday's win means the pressure is on them to best us - we can take a draw or even a defeat and still have it in our hands on the final day.

After the horrifically inconsistent, messy season we've had, getting back to fifth would be a good achievement. It would mean that even after all the faff we still are only three games (technically could be two wins and a draw) from the PL which is ridiculous.

Obviously there's a bit of a gap between us and Villa in fourth so you know we aren't favourites, but there's no reason to be afraid of the other teams if we get there. Anyone who gets in the Play Offs needs to fancy their chances.

Fulham will be the red hot play off favourites if they don't go up automatically.

Shrewsbury more or less confirmed our promotion yesterday - 7 clear with 9 to play for, it’ll be some capitulation if Shrews get back above us now.

Was pulling for Pompey to make the play offs but yesterday’s result was a real blow. Not out of it though! Charlton still have to play us at the Valley.

Nah we're out of it now mate. Yesterday was horrendous. Some obvious areas of required improvement. One of our midfielders offered a fan a fight after the final whistle. Happy times at Fratton.

BBC article on Sunderland.

It has been a miserable journey, as fans swap the already fading memories of entertaining Manchester City, Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur for the reality of visits to Accrington Stanley, Bristol Rovers and Southend United.

I don’t think Sunderland entertained anyone in their last few seasons to be fair

Accrington? I dunno about the league but they might be able to upgrade from McDonald’s to some gourmet burgers.
