Thanks derby and Bristol lads. I can see 2nd spot winning at me :shifty:

Just a small matter of the derby tomorrow first :dread:

Fabian Delph is a banana split.

Bloody hell.

What kind of dog was it? This is important.

It was a boy French Bulldog, he has called him Gunner for obvious reasons, the twitter tag was #getericadog

Great to see so many results go Villa's way yesterday, and then a comfortable win over Blues to boot. :datass: :toot:

Can’t see us getting automatic promotion with this form. We seemed to have dropped down 2 gears since the new year

PLAY | Persona 3 Reloaded [3h]
WATCH | Ted Lasso S3, HiJack S1, The Apprentice S18
RACE | Devizes Half (April), Chew Valley 10k (June), GNR (Sept), Cardiff Half (Oct)

Automatic promotion went a while ago. I can’t see us making the play offs. 8th-12th is my guess.

To be fair it sounds like we got away with one there. Still, done the double over a good team there and only one point off the top - we’re making progress!

Get rid of your keeper, hes gash. Probably the worst a keeper has done this season ironically.

From what I hear that was his worst game of a really good season so far. Of course, the Blackburn fans page on Facebook isn’t to be trusted to give any kind of accurate information.

Your keeper really wasn't that bad - I've definitely seen worse at Pompey this season.

That was a very frustrating game. Blackburn were definitely one of the best teams I've seen play at Fratton recently. They seemed to make a lot of space in the Pompey half and played quick ball, whereas we seem to slow play down a lot and try to break down teams who have 7 or 8 players back. We went with a 4-4-2 instead of our normal 4-2-3-1, probably because of what happened at Ewood earlier in the season.

Having said that, I think Pompey were good value for a point. The tide was just turning after we equalised and Blackburn looked genuinely rattled but the stoppage in play for that injury took some of the momentum away and gave you time to regroup. I fancied our chances of grabbing a winner until that unbelievably frustrating second goal went in. Horrible goal to concede - but we always seem to have the potential to do that in us.

Gg.

I hope at least one of the GR supported teams on League One goes up to the Championship this season. Hopefully Pompey can make the playoffs and Blackburn can secure an automatic spot.

Pompey are four off the play offs at the moment but there’s a lot of time to make that gap up. Only a point separates the top three at the moment but Wigan have two games in hand on us and Shrewsbury have one - it’s going to be very tight. Blackburn could realistically get to 100 points and not go up automatically the way the other two are playing.

Looks like our run of ridiculous luck has come to an end.

Honestly believe we'll do well to hold onto a playoff spot now. Even the draw against Brentford was the result of heavy fortune. We're a good 8-10 points higher than we should be.

Blackburn were the best team I’ve seen at Fratton this season, much better than Shrewsbury. Would be surprised if you didn’t finish in the top 2.

As has been mentioned, I think a point would have been fair but it wasn’t exactly a smash and grab. Just a frustrating goal to give away after such a well fought game.

Also I hope your right-back is okay, whatever he did it looked pretty bad!

My boss claimed she saw him walking away after the game so I don't think it's as serious as first thought. Incredible job from the Rovers keeper to clatter him so spectacularly.
