Turns out it was ex-Red Dog Luke Chambers. He scored the goal then took a clattering. He was lying on the floor and his legs were going like he'd been electrocuted! Sounds like he's alright now though and playing on.

I don't see anything in Villa's performances that suggest Bruce knows what he is doing. It just seems so desperate. But we are not just getting beaten, we're getting pretty comprehensively outplayed week after week.

Most consistent 90 minutes I've seen us play for ages, great result. Jamal Lowe is looking like a really exciting player, and was great for Doyle to get off the mark.

Not sure the wife was best pleased spending our first Valentine's as a married couple at Fratton Park though.

A gashead here was moaning this morning about 3 draws in a row meaning you will not make the play offs. As a newly promoted side you ought to be ecstatic that you are looking like a top half finish!

If someone said to me (at the beginning of the season) Rovers would be tenth half way through February I'd have laughed. I said I would have been happy to finish 18/19th just so as long as we stay up. I don't want another promotion at the moment. We haven't the infrastructure just yet, there would have to be a major overhaul at the Mem (all seats etc) and I also reckon a lot of the squad wouldn't cope with the Championship. We would need 5-6 seasoned players for the step up again. So, no, I'm happy where we are at the moment. Get the new training camp on the go, find out what the hell is going on with the new stadium and keep sailing on as we're doing!

While that guy is a fool, I find it weird that you wouldn't want promotion. Take promotion whenever you can get it, because you might never get it again!

I think you get a few seasons in the Championship to get your ground up together (Burton don't have a Championship quality ground for instance) and the additional money would help with that as well as attracting better quality players.

Not that I want you to go up of course.
