3 games, 7 goals, none conceded.

Cobblers to climb the leagues with only half a ground.

We're going to beat Newcastle in a couple of weeks as well. Watch.

Was annoyed watching the game our players were getting pulled back all the time and the ref never spoke to any of their players!

That being said I have rewatched the Red Card and although clearly not intentional but it was a red card offense and that changed the game. We were flying until that point. Going to miss Freeman for 3 games now

Also looks like Wilbs did elbow Tarkowski :shifty:

Best thing to come out of that game was Kodjia's preformance!

Also

Also, there was no need for Darrell Clarke's comment on the Radio!

Yeah all that's pretty much what I thought. Cotts skills on the touch line was funny as was him trying to fight the entire Brentford bench.

Darrell Clarke has no class, it's irrelevant to us what he thinks though and I doubt anyone at City cares, it would be like a Premier League team caring what a League One club thinks of them.

Kodjia though, looks to be a great signing and he's got some pace on him to. Hope we can beat Leeds Wednesday, I wouldn't like to be 3 games in without a point!

Kodjia looked decent but I think we need somebody else up front. Looks like the Gayle deal is off but hopefully we can get somebody else in before the end of August. Bidding £6million for a player was a good statement of intent though!

I'd love to beat Leeds!!

Gayle never wanted to come anyway, he will go to a Prem team like Norwich I think although Fulham have come in for him too.

We are now linked with Rhodes but I think it's all publicity

ObBlov, did you catch Tuesday's game?

Gutting to concede such a late equaliser, as a win at your place would have been an absolutely massive result, even this early on.

I have heard it been described my some of your fans as "almost the perfect away performance" - you had a lot of possession second half but it seemed like we had a good shape and contained you well.

Shame that one little defensive lapse has cost us.

We need to beat Bristol City at home now, to get back to the mythical "2 points per game" ratio that sees you promoted.

Still, win your home games and draw away and you should be okay. Would rather have nicked a win at Derby though, for the inevitable times you get beat on the road.

I am dreading Saturday.

We have actually been playing really well, we played ok against Wednesday (lost 2-0) dominated Brentford (but then lost 4-2) and battered Leeds (only just scrapped a 2-2). Hopefully we get something from you!

I would put some money on there being a "2" in the final result. ;)

No class?

So the Cotterill remark of 'Some rag ass Rovers outfit' when Sheffield stuffed you at home last season. Or Landsdown's comment when we got relegated 'No-one will be talking about Bristol Rovers anymore' or the fact he's spent a massive amount of money on those pathetic, lame-ass billboards with the moniker 'Two teams in Bristol' as in the other being Rugby bullshit? No class. Take a long hard look at yourselves.........

We'll take 2 wins and a draw from the opening 3 games, now we need to sink CoraBen Rovers on Saturday.

Check out my YouTube channel!
One man should not have this much power in this game. Luckily I'm not an ordinary man.

The difference between me and you Gandy is that I don’t see criticism of my manager and then rush out to say “OH MY GOD BUT SOMEBODY ELSE DID SOMETHING BAD!!!!”.

Clarke has zero class. You could see that when he was in a pub chanting “we are going up” just before you played Grimsby. Classless and disrespectful.

You could see he has no class when he goes onto the radio and asks what the City score was before saying “happy days”. Clarke has no history at all with City, he is not from Bristol and we haven’t played you with him as manager, why does he care?

The answer is he is desperate to be “one of you” and ingratiate himself with the fans. It is rather pathetic but maybe understandable after he relegated you from the football league and only got you out of it with a lucky penalty shootout win.

Remember though that I said there was a difference between me and you? Because thinking Clarke has no class doesn’t mean I think Cotterill does. I like him as a manager, especially after last season, but he is pretty classless when it comes to interviews after a game.

Having said that, I don’t think Cotterill was talking about you with his “ragass rovers” comment, it’s debatable whether he meant your lot or not, but I don’t think he did. He is a twat a lot of the time though.

I can find no trace at all of Lansdown ever saying that “nobody will be talking about Rovers”. Maybe he did, can you link me up?

The adverts saying “two teams in Bristol” etc are embarrassing. It’s obviously a dig at your lot and not something I particularly support, it’s fine as banter between fans, embarrassing when the actual clubs are doing it.

That’s the difference Gandy, I am happy to talk about my own clubs failings, whereas you desperately try to deflect attention away by bringing up an unrelated matter and never admitting to your own club failings.

Edit:

And how come you got rid of the #shitheadwankers part of your post? Did you remember that this isn't Twitter? ;)

What a end to a game! Moaned at the early leavers on the Bristol City Facebook group and for once I laugh at anyone who leaves early during any game. Those who have young kids and disabled people I fully understand but the amount of people walking out of the ground with 10 mins to go is just embarrassing.

I will stay throughout, Hell even my 86 year old grandfather stays until the final whistle! It's days like yesterday where I have the last laugh and those who left missed one hell of a comeback.

Leeds manager Uwe Rosler:
" "I don't know where six minutes came from. Everyone in the stadium got very excited when they scored in the 88th minute"

Guess he forgot all about the time wasting we had to endure!
Also he said they were the better team! hmmmmm

Not gonna argue the penalty even though keeper never touched him, he was always going to dive and leave the ref with no choice. Fredericks was awful, first goal was his fault and he was slow and uninterested after that too! Subbing him was the correct choice.

I text a mate to say "I hope you didn't leave early" and he replied with "Oh yes I did, 1st goal when I was at exit and 2nd goal when I was at bus stop. Gutted but happy lol".

He's played three times so far (one start and two as sub) and from what I've heard it he's played well. He hasn't had a full 90 yet as Bowyer seems to like taking off players that are playing well instead of ones that are playing poorly.

Fair enough, early days so hopefully he can earn a solid run in the team. Is he there for the whole season? I'll try to keep an eye out for him on soccer saturday/football league show.

Only for 3 months but I would assume that if he has impressed we will try to extend it.
