I won a pair of tickets to the 2013 League Cup Final Bradford vs Swansea, and was sat in the Bradford end. When the guy next to us realised we weren't Bradford fans it was once of the most awkward 90 minutes of my life. Annoyingly there were about 8,000 spare seats we could have been sat in instead.

That was the season Norwich played Aston Villa at Carrow Road in the QF and Paul Lambert played a weakened side. Villa then lost to Bradford in the SF. I'm still annoyed at that.

If there is any justice in the world they should get 5 players sent off, and have the match abandoned and awarded as a victory to Rovers

Got our tickets for the EFL Cup game vs Arsenal, plus a bonus..... my 8yr old son has been randomly chosen to be the mascot for the game too!!!!

He'll get to meet the players in the changing room, lead the teams out, have a quick shot in the Trent End goal and be in the official match photo with both Forest's & Arsenal's captains and the referee. Well chuffed for him

Tonight's the night! I have one very excited young man this morning. I bought him a new Forest top on Saturday with "Mascot 20.9.16 Arsenal" printed on the back and he'll be getting it signed all over tonight by the Forest squad plus any Arsenal players he meets.

Been checking predicted starting line ups and he has his Arsenal Match Attax 2015/16 cards stuck on a board ready for signing plus a new ball.

Its heavily predicted that Arsenal will start with Xhaka, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Debuchy, Gibbs, Ospina, Iwobi, Holding, plus possibly Ozil (doubt that personally), Giroud or Walcott or Perez up top.

Sure, we'll lose and probably by 3 or 4 but a full City Ground (30k) under the lights and singing Mull of Kintyre is going to be special at kick off. And my son will be leading the teams out!

Should be a great evening for you even if we get stuffed. I'm really liking what Montanier is doing at Forest at the moment, lets hope Fawaz keeps his nose out of it.

Montanier is definitely doing some good things. Needs to settle on a back 4 asap though. Would be great if our first clean sheet of the season came tonight against Arsenal though. Can't see it happening but you never know.

So so proud of my boy tonight as mascot (for tonight's exhibition by Arsenal in how to control a match). I don't care we lost 4-0 (well I do a bit) but he has had a night to remember and has 15 autographs on each of his shirt, ball and book.

On a note about the game Xhaka is awesome. Great strike for the first goal and looked class all night. After their first goal we never had a look in. Before then I would say we were on top and unlucky not to have scored in first 15 mins

The attendance was 6,760 (414 away). I have no idea what size crowds Swindle usually get, but I hope that's a very low figure. While it is a low figure, the 414 Rovers fans ought to be ashamed of themselves.

Trouble is, bullshit excuses being used by some fans (on various forums) 'I didn't go to the first game' or 'I support my team through thick and thin' OK, that's commendable, but when you have a legitimate excuse to boycott a game and make a point, for EVERY football fan, for any future situations like this, seemed to have missed the boat.....
