Brighton could do me and Moggy a huge favour today by not being gooseberry fool.

Just back from the Amex and we were anything but gooseberry fool. We dominated the first half but Burton clearly came with a plan to try and contain us and then start attacking during the second. Thankfully we scored early in both halves with the chances we crafted which forced Burton's hand early and opened the game up. We exploited the space well and took our chances. Hemed got MOTM but Knockaert was better.

It just doesn't make any sense. We were gooseberry fool for five seasons in premier league, but the squad last season was probably good enough to avoid relegation. Same gooseberry fool again this season - excellent squad on paper but then we just do a villa and stink up everyone's mentality til we lose

He is losing the support of the fans who do not boo the players. Atmosphere has been fine for the majority of recent games. Not as good as a few years ago but it's never going to be in League 2. There are a few miserable sods in the minority.

So his comments the other week about how the fans wanted 442 and the loss was effectively their fault (strongly implied), even though he played Smith up top in that 442 then pinged up long high balls to Chaplin and Lowe after taking Smith off?

I'm calling bullshit on this.
