We were are own downfall in that game. Fielding's stupidity and Pack not clearing the ball with 30 seconds to go!

Yeah it was our own fault.

Still, I thought we played ok and we now don’t have to play Wolves again this season! They are by far the best team in this division, narrowly losing to them isn’t a disgrace.

I won't hear a bad word about Fielding after his attempted heroics in the last game of last season.

Results so far gone well for us today, gonna feel dirty as strawberry float saying this, but... come on Villa!

Today the team had one eye on the cup game, by the sounds of it. Not acceptable really but they're only human.

Suppose I should also be rooting for Villa, although I can't see us finishing within about 8 points of second place anyway so it doesn't make much difference. We're overachieving slightly at the moment and it won't take much for our luck to run out.

There’s nothing worse than somebody who only pops in when his team is winning.

We’ve got a paper thin squad that played the best team (and lost in the last minute!) in the league 48 hours ago. We were always going to lose this one, I was just hoping it wouldn’t be that bad. :dread:

Our team was the same team that beat Middlesbrough 48 hours ago.

Doesn't everyone have the same size squad?

I think he meant they lack the strength in depth of other squads.

I have no idea how many players you have on the books, but I’d imagine it’s more than us. Injuries and suspensions have left us in a weakened state.

Villa obviously deserve their win though! It wasn’t a surprise that we lost, the size of the loss was surprising!!

Where did I get salty?

Your “banter” is embarrassing.

Oh right, that’s my salt.

Bizarre result considering City's season up to this point and should probably go down as an anomaly.

Can't say I'm not pleased to be staying 2nd for the time being 8-).
