We were boycotting the trip away to Sheffield Wednesday because of their stupid pricing (£39 for us, £25 for Reading at their next home game!).

I wouldn't have gone anyway, I don't really do many away matches. I will be at Ashton Gate next weekend though so I am only half plastic. ;)

Of course you would have to be strawberry floating mental to "glory hunt" by supporting Bristol City.

The Channel 5 offering is so budget and awkward. They don't mic people properly and their guests seem really uncomfortable. :dread:

Just seen Wolves' second goal from Saturday and the player is actually mortified that he's scored it, doesn't even celebrate. Ominous start to the season there.

Dog gooseberry fool.

It had a studio audience.

Oh dear, did they interact with the studio audience? It's always worse when they do that.

It was like ten times worse than Wimbledon 2Day in Week 1. These idiots in charge that keep thinking the sport itself isn't good enough therefore needs BANTER and other silly gimmicks to sustain the viewers interest.

The ratings were horrible though so I'm sure Channel 5 will figure it out by the end of the year.

Bristol Rovers Vs Birmingham tonight...

Just seen these facts
Rovers have not kept a clean sheet in any of their last 17 League Cup ties.
The last 16 League Cup games involving Birmingham City have seen 66 goals scored, more than four per game on average.

Pretty tempted to bet on 0-0

Oxford United (League 2) are beating Brentford (Championship) 3-0

We're a shambles both on and off the field. I don't think I felt quite this depressed about the club when we were in league 1.

I heard a rumour linking us with Antonio today - is there anything in it, or is just stupid ITKers picking players and trying to garner some attention for themselves?

He is the default target for lower Prem and Championship clubs for transfer rumours this year.

It was Derby a couple of days ago, West Brom before that and numerous clubs along the way.

I know how you feel. I'm going on Saturday for my first game this season. Will be interesting to hear the CG crowd reaction to the slightest error on the pitch. Considering its Rotherham we'd normally expect a comfortable win but this season?
Yet to see it but Antonio's 1st goal is meant to be a cracker from last night. Should add a million or 2 to the asking price!

If it's any consolation, you're playing better than Dagenham did on Saturday. Just. :slol:

We could do with a goal really. Can see coming in 0-0 at the break having had the better first 45, and then getting outplayed in the second once your players get a kick up the arse.

To be fair, I think we achieved an essence of control from a few minutes after I posted that. Not great though. Paul Clement's underwhelming tenure continues...

Yeah, you probably had the better of the last 10 minutes of that half. Has Clement changed the team much from the weekend? I know Hughes and Bryson both came off on Saturday.
