Yeah, only the eight changes! Hughes is out for six months. The last couple of months of last season we were accruing around two new injuries per game so it's nothing new :fp:.

Grant. he's a bit of a David James, isn't he? Good keeper but always got an error in him.

Just need to make sure we keep at it now. Last few seasons we've sat back way too much, doesn't look like we will be under Cook.

Ugh, gutting. It's come when we've been looking most in control too, or at least when Derby have been looking their least threatening.

FAKE EDIT: YES!! Lovely goal, made up for Chaplin.

Should have been a pen there. I actually thought it was outside at first, but we got away with that one.

Well there we go. Fair play, Pompey. I would usually be gutted about being knocked out of a cup competition but for once I am totally focused on the league, in which case it's probably best to be out in round 1.

Must be a huge number of Championship clubs out by now.

8 clubs out from the Championship from last night and tonight. CUPSET etc.

I was saying before the game how I'd have been content with the performance, but to get the result alongside it is really impressive. I know Derby didn't play brilliantly but I do think we limited them, especially in the first half. It's so pleasing to see it looking to be coming together already. Just need to keep it going for as long as we can now.

I hope Derby keep up he middling form until at least next week.

I am going to be getting up at 3am to listen to it. Hoping for a repeat of last year.

After that, I will go back to rooting for them again.

Darren Bent trudging off the pitch is one of my favorite images in recent times. The lads were fantastic last night. What an academy line were producing now.

Moggy, went to the ground on Wednesday, still lots to be done but it's looking pretty epic!

Bring on tomorrow and hopefully our first win of the season :toot:

I'm in the South Stand today and can't wait to see it! Even better is that I am getting in for free, my stepdad bought a season ticket and then stupidly booked a weekend away for the first home game. I had the season ticket straight off him.

Supoib win away at Plymouth today. Sounded like we dominated again, which of course meant we had to continue Pompey tradition by conceding a late goal and cause me to poo my pants for the last 5 minutes.

First goals of the season for Tubbs and Roberts too. Lovely.

3 wins in a week including a Championship side at home and a very good Plymouth side away from home. Fantastic 7 days.

So we got our 1st 3 points of the season by beating Rotherham 2-1. Apparently that's our 1st win in 11 games going back to March since we played........ Rotherham. (can we play you every week Millers?)

Poor game on the whole. Lansbury got man of match and to be fair he did look good at times. Jamie Ward was probably in for a shout of MotM but as he was subbed around 65 mins he missed out by not being there for the majority of the game. But Ward looks full of desire and almost scored within 55 secs of kick off except for a good diving save by their keeper

At least we showed desire by coming from behind to win but we must play better. This was against the team hotly tipped for relegation so God help us against the better teams

Sounds like Lansbury deal is going to happen with Burnley. Dougie was interviewed after match and stated ball is in their court as we've asked for one of their players as part of the deal. He wouldn't name or confirm position but Juktiewicz (sp?) seems likely I would guess

Steve Evans though - how has he not had 20 Heart attacks? He never stops moaning
