Congratulations to the south coast of England!

Let's see what we can get out of Huddersfield then. I suppose it's nice to watch a game without feeling any pressure/concern.

One offside goal each already. The key difference being theirs stood and ours was ruled out. :fp:

You got it by hook and by crook. Awful football played by Bristol City after the equaliser, and a stonewall penalty denied.

By all accounts we should have been 3 up, so it's all fair really. ;)

Anyway now you need to push on and get rid of Brum. Even if that'll make Glowy happy. ;)

The accounts are wrong - we were awful yes, but you didn't have many clear cut chances and the goal was a mistake by David Raya rather than good football from Tammy Abraham.

That said, we were the worse team for long spells and it was a horrible match. Emnes changed it and we were much better after he came on, but a better team would've rattled BCFC today.

Bristol City's generally jakey tactics after conceding were very disappointing, for example Aaron Wilbraham coming on and immediately going down for five minutes "injured," and some pretty suspect fouls in the last five minutes ruined the very good impression that the team and their fans had left.

Overall - 6.5/10 - would maybe see again.

They're not really telling the story - sitting behind the goals Raya was rarely tested and most of the on target shots were either easily collected long distance efforts or a couple of pea rollers, along with a decent save at the start of the second half. Honestly, watch it on C5 tonight, it was a strawberry floating gooseberry fool match contested between two pretty poor teams. Like I said, Bristol were better on balance, but you'd have to say that without Abraham they'd be in real trouble.

Think it's time to congratulate Brighton on going up - 12 points clear of Huddersfield if they win(which they aren't) with a massively superior goal difference. Newcastle are wobbling as well, could see Huddersfield going up if they can sort their own wobble out and win their last four.

Birmingham could conceivably lose out to end the season - away at Villa and Bristol and home to Huddersfield. Hopefully they don't get a new manager bounce and we beat Wolves/Villa. :slol:

Well Huddersfield drew against Derby, so Brighton ARE mathematically promoted.

Wolves and villa both have to play blackburn.

Thats 6 points. And hopefully we'll beat blues next week.

Just sayin.

Fabian Delph is a banana split.

I think today has shown how the power in football is increasingly shifting from the north to the south in general. When I started supporting football, superiority in mist divisions was to be found in the north with the classic teams, but with most London and southern teams receiving some form of major investment its turning the other way. I had a funny feeling we might be next and if the Eisner deal gets a yes then I look foward to a fun future.
