I had a funny feeling we might be next and if the Eisner deal gets a yes then I look foward to a fun future.

I had no idea you were that old DML, ive read all about the founding years of the football league and the original northern powerhouses of Accrington, Aston Villa, Blackburn Rovers, Bolton Wanderers, Burnley, Derby County, Everton, Notts County, Preston North End, Stoke, West Bromwich Albion and Wolverhampton Wanderers. A time when top flight organised football only existing in the north of the country. It wasn't until 1931 when a southern club (Arsenal) one the league.

Yeah. Except we don't fight - as proved over Easter. We huff and puff and occasionally go "oooh, arrrrr. So close".

We're down. We never ever get the right mentality in a scrap. Never have done

Congrats on staying up Blackburn

Bit late but WE DID IT. Such a great feeling of joy and relief, can't wait for the party at Fratton on Saturday.

Congrats to Brighton too! Fully deserved.

There's far too much optimism and cheer in this thread.

Big games at the bottom end of the Championship tomorrow/Sunday. :dread:

Bristol City v Barnsley
Burton Albion v Leeds
Nottingham Forest v Reading
Wigan Athletic v Cardiff City
Wolverhampton Wanderers v Blackburn Rovers
Aston Villa v Birmingham City

I think the best result would be for Bristol City and Blackburn Rovers to win, with Glowy also doing us a massive favour by smashing the absolute gooseberry fool out of Brum. I'd hope for Nottingham Forest as well, but can't see them having much chance of getting anything out of Reading.
