Great recovery from Wednesday night today - really hope we can use this and the away win at Valley Parade to push on with the rest of the season.

holy gooseberry fool Birmingham were strawberry floating awful today. no urgency or imagination at all

finished 2-0 but Reading really should have had four or five, only a couple of decent saves from Stockdale (the only Birmingham player who bothered turning up) kept it at a more respectable score

Today could be the day we get rid of Michael Smith. Christmas at the end of July.

How so? Was confirmed this evening as far as I know.

Excellent deadline day for Pompey. Sad to see Carl baker go. Three new signings look exciting - and one more (potentially MattyKennedy from cardiff) to go.

Wolves strikers...
Sell Dicko
Loan out Mason
Sell Dadi
Loan out Gladon
Loan out Wilson

Bring in no striker/s... we have 1 senior striker and another who has just come back from being out for over a year due to injury... yeeeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhh

I was just joking that at the end of August you said Christmas at the end of July.

Re-read my post so many times to make sure I'd not done something stupid and still didn't notice that :fp:

Excited for Sunday now. Hopefully the new signings will get some game time. O'Keefe, Bennett, Kennedy, Chaplin and Pitman linking up is quite an exciting prospect :shifty:

Nice away win today. I thought we'd struggle to get a point at Reading so to come away with all 3 is fantastic.

Sunderland haven't won a home game since December last year.

It's going to be another miserable season.

Great result for us tonight.

All the sweeter seeing Direby lost at Barnsley and miss out on the Wembley trip to lose at Spurs :toot:

Really enjoyable game between Northampton and Portsmouth tonight. Obviously I'm happy as the cobblers won but it was a game full of fast pace, end to end and lots of chances for both teams.
