Picked this up on steam this week and really getting back into it just had a 9 goal thriller with Athletico Madrid in the Champions league. Haven't played FM for a fair few years, changed a fair bit.

Jesus. If any of you start off as a small club. Make sure you buy Stevie May. That's the lad I was talking about, 200k he cost me, Had him about 18 months, 40 games and 29 scored. Worth £6.5 million now and is on dead cheap wages. :mrgreen:

Is doing a good job in the Premier league now too - 10 Games played 7 scored.

Providing I stay in the Premier league this season, Ter Stegan has agreed to join on a free in the summer :shock:

600k He's costing with agent fees and signing fee.

So, I'm into my 5th season with Derby. Thought I was doing so well. I've just been well and truly abused :oops:

Won the FA cup in my 3rd season, So I was entered into the Europa league. Decided I'd put all my efforts into that and just pray that I'd survive. Anyway. I won the Europa cup after what is possibly the luckiest route there and a scrappy 1-0 win in the final.

Had to fend off Man City/Dortmund and Spurs from trying to take Hughes and May respectively this season. Don't know how long I can do it for. £33 million City offered for Hughes and a nice £14 million for May.
Inter have strawberry floated off after I managed to get a release clause into Carvalhos contract - £70 million. :datass:

Soldado is depressingly good in this.

Took Oxford from League 2 to the Premier League in 10 years. Not relegated once. Was in the relegation zone in my first Premiership season at Christmas, got sacked with zero warning.

He got sold in January '15 for £2 million in my save. From what I can tell, He was just chucked in the reserves after spurs brought Hernandez.

Aye Dblock, He's a cracking keeper. That's why I was so shocked that nobody else was coming in for him than a newly promoted team!

We have a problem. I have a lot of games going now, So I'm having to field basically 2 different teams for when the main team are shattered. Problem is. They can't score for shite. :lol:

Every player I go to sign doesn't want to be a squad player and I can't be doing with the aggro I get when they don't even make the bench. I;m guessing it's time to invest in training up youth players?

Jesus christ this game is annoying when your team is inexplicably gooseberry fool. Playing as Hull and I've got a pretty solid team, nothing great but a few additions to their pretty poor squad. I've lost every game bar one draw, barely manage to get a shot on target in any game and have scored about 3/4 goals.

Tried strawberry floating everything to make this team play well. So frustrating. Nearly every attack from the opposition results in a goal/save from my keeper.

I picked up fmh14 on my nexus 10 and holy gooseberry fool is it addictive .Bought tadic as well for spurs for about 13 mill and sold Townsend off to Newcastle for 10 mill.He just didn't fit my system.

The year, is 2021.

Derby, Have just won the Premier league. 8-)

Gonna either leave and find a new team, or just wait until the new one is out.

Don't know if anyone was aware but there is a football manager documentary being released on the 7th October .its a one night only thing in vue cinemas nationwide.There was also additional voting that took place for other showings and Norwich won so I'm going to it .There will also be a q&a session and a sneak preview of the new version.

As I said in the footie thread watched at the cinema ,it was a good documentary and the q&a after with Iain Macintosh was really interesting .You should see the changes being added to FM15 as well ,there are loads including a big change to the menu system ,better motion capture for the in play and a new change regarding what type of manager you want to be so more of a tracksuit coach or suit coach .

There isn't a football manager 15 thread, So I'll just use this.

Ødegårds' father has given permission to SI to use him in the game, Normally it's 16+ but there's been so many people asking why he isn't in the game.

Just made it to The Premier league in my second season with them. Playing Middlesbrough and it's 1-1 in the 87th minute. Really want to win this one and what happens? Only bloody this;
